This hat is high quality handmade. The leather string and toggle really looks nice. The sides are bent up, maybe from the shipping box, so it does have a western look. I like the straw color. It is lightweight too.

I'm usually a bit anxious about buying hats sight unseen, but this was one where the gamble paid off. Once I wore it a few times, it started to fit my head a bit better, and it's become a great go-to hat for summer in Lower Alabama.

The hat is darker/more orange hued than appears in the picture. Very stiff, so not as comfortable as some. Should be a good hiking hat, though, with a good chin strap for windy days or wearing on your back in shady places. Decent value for the money, and an excellent spf rating of 50!

This is a very comfortable hat, wears well and is an excellent sun blocker. Materials and workmanship are top notch. Sizing is right on.
