Great bunting for winter outings

We bought this bunting for our baby who was born in late January to get us through the New England winter. It's what we expected from North Face. Good quality and will keep our baby warm for regular outings (with the right amount of layering underneath). It seems to be a bit large for a 3-6 month old, but as an outer layer, that's fine. The blue color looks exactly like Cookie Monster, which we think is adorable. We also looked at other popular brand name buntings and this was a better value for the product.

I chose this bunting for my 7 month daughter primarily because of the North Face brand. I have several North Face products myself and have always been happy with the quality and warmth. Upon receipt (which was very quick from Altrec), I liked the style of this bunting, but it was a bit bulkier than I expected. In addition, I purchased the 6-12 month size, and the arms and legs were very long. (My daughter is thin, but is 75% for height. I had to roll the sleeves over to get her hands to come out (which was difficult to do because the fabric is tighter around the wrists). It also added too much bulk and made it difficult to put the bunting on. I also noticed right away that I had pink fuzzies on my shirt and around the house. The bunting shed right away, which is ultimately why I chose to return it. It's very cute and warm, but just not as practical as I had hoped with the bulk, extra long arms, and shedding.

Ordered this fleece bunting for my daughter who is 3 months old, I ordered the 6-12months so she could have it all winter. The bunting is very soft and cozy. It is also very easy to put on and take off. Very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it.

Very lightweight, warm, and durable item as you would expect from The Northface. A little snug over chest in our case though.
