I brought this for my son and he loves it!! he loves north face he had two denali and now wanted to try something different. It also arrived went it said it would it was the perfect fit. I will continue to purchase all my north face jackets from Altrec.

Bought a medium for my 9 yr old who is on the small side and it's a bit big but it's all good for growing room and hand me downs. I have 3 boys and a girl and almost always buy North Face because it lasts forever and is always in style. This jackets great because it's perfect for this cold spring were having and also will be good in the winter because it's not bulky and can be used as a layer. It's also nice that it looks a little more dressy and looks good for restaurants, church etc.

My son loves the jacket, but the sizing is a bit off from what we are used to. I think it is a bit large, but blessedly my son doesn't care, and hopefully he will grow into it before he wears it out!

Great jacket, perfect for mild winter climate -- lightweight but still very warm. Fits well over clothes. It's been worn every day since we received it. Highly recommend.

I got one of this jacket for myself my son like it so much I got one for him, I was amazed they make the very same style jacket for boys and with the same quality and features; fit, stylish, and value, the only small complaint for this jacket would be that it lacks an internal pocket, I would surely recommend this jacket to a friend.

North Face products are excellent. This product is great for kids as it is light weight and provides great wind protection. Works well in wide range of temps.

My husband and I have the adult versions of this jacket, the Apex Bionic Jacket. We have had ours for 3-4 years and are still wearing it. The quality, durability, and rain/wind proof of this coat is amazing and this holds for the youth size as well. If you are looking for a coat that you can wear all year round, this is the one. We live in Iowa where we have extremely cold winters and we still wear it all year round. For myself, when I run to the store and just have to get in and out of the car, I always opt for this coat instead of my huge winter coat. It is much more comfortable and less bulky to wear in stores and in your car. As for my husband, he hates bulky coats (unless he is skiing), so this is the perfect fit for him as well. Since we loved our coat this much, we decided to purchase it for our son for all the reasons listed above. He is in 5th grade, weighs about 82 lbs and is average for his age. We purchased the XL size so it would fit him for a couple of years and it is looking like it will fit for 3-4 years! This is great but it is way bigger than I thought. That might help in determining the right size for you child. This coat is well worth the money, adults or kids.
