It is the first time that I bought Northface backpack, I am very satisfied with it. The style is very cool, and it wears very comfortable, the quality seems very durable. I like it very much! But the carrying capacity is smaller than I expected. Overall, it is a good backpack, I would like recommend it to others.

This back pack is made well and durable. It it nice looking and offers many pouches and pockets for optimal storage. It also has protection for a medium size laptop and protects it from hitting the ground. The down side is that that it is a little smaller than a regular backpack because of the space needed for laptop protection. Also, the zippers don't come down all the way on the back pocket which is bothersome and the piece of plastic in the back makes it very stiff. However, over all it's a quality product that will last me a long time. Very satisfied.

This is an amazing backpack. I fit everything I need in here and it is much bigger than you would think. It is very light and comfortable. The nylon is very durable and can take a beating.

The bag arrived on time 3-5 days. The color looks just the same as the picture. I had a same bag in black for years. It is roomy to carry a lot of heavy books and a laptop. The back part is well cushioned, so it is confortable to carry. Love it.

I got this backpack as a present to carry my all of my computer and other tech. items. I could not be happier with this Nothface item. It is very comfortable as a sling or as a backpack. There are plenty of pockets.

I have found that most backpacks these days have too many pockets of every shape and size for my preference. The Borealis has one large pocket for books with a inner slot for your laptop. One smaller organizational pocket with a number of pouches for pens, tools, pocket knife, planner... and a little outer pocket. It has two water bottle holders one at each side which hold nalgenes as well as skinnier stainless steel water bottles. Its the perfect size for my college life everyday school needs and for day hikes. I am totally happy with it. The waist strap is less durable than some of the more expensive north face backpacks but overall its great. Altrec has great discounts and timely delivery.

Smaller than I expected but overall a good bag. Free of embellishment, this sleek daypack boasts two large zip pockets so you can stash gear quickly and hit the road. The main compartment features a padded laptop sleeve (fits most 15" laptops), and an almost equally large secondary zip pocket with built-in organizational sleeves. Bungee cord on face of pack lets you store additional gear, or cinch down contents inside. Updated shoulder straps and back panel.

I absolutely love this backpack. It distributes weight very nicely, and I can fit my 17" computer inside as long as it's not in a case, or in the sleeve designated for your laptop. This is a bit upsetting because that pocket/sleeve is well protected and cushioned. This backpack is made for a 15.6" computer, but I found a way to make my computer fit. That was my requirement for a backpack, and this one performs so well. Plenty of compartments for storage, strong meshing on sides. Very Durable. I love this backpack.

I thought the Borealis Laptop Backpack was awesome however, I am 6.1 feet tall and honestly it did not fit like I wanted it too. I love Almost all north face products however I ended up giving it to my younger sister because it was a little snug. I decided to by the larger Surge Backpack and it fit my macbook pro 13 inch perfectly with room for two binders and a book. I would recommend the Borealis Laptop Backpack if you are 5.9 feet and under or if you are looking for a smaller backpack. My sister 5.9 feet it fits her perfectly. If larger then that I would recommend the Surge.

This backpack is great for carrying a day's worth of stuff around. However, using it for school, it's a bit on the small side...i've managed to fit a laptop, 1.5 inch binder, and 2 textbooks but that's it. If you are planning on lasting through an entire day of classes, you'll need a bigger pack.

I bought this backpack for college because I knew alot of friends who had north face's and they all loved theirs. I figured I would go ahead and splurge and buy myself this backpack because i would love it too. And sure enough, its perfect. The size is good, i am able to pack all my books and notebooks in for the day and even my 17" laptop fits tightly in the sleeve, even though it is made for 15". I don't bring my laptop to class anymore though because it's not necessary. So that still leaves me great extra space for things i might need during the day/weekend. ie, snacks, makeup bag, clothes etc. i always carry my water bottle on the side. The compartments are great; it's very easy to keep track of. the backpack itself is very comfortable. Straps easily adjust. This is definitely worth the extra money, I know this backpack will last me thru my college years and beyond :)

It is one of the best backpacks i have ever baught! It is very light and it has a lot of room for a backpack. i have never baught a The North Face backpack and it is the best backpack ever and i would recomened this to a friend!!

I love my borealis backpack! It is great for school and for traveling! The all black is great because it doesn't get dirty. The only problems are that my 17' inch laptop doesn't fit and there some straps that aren't necessary for everyday usage.

This backpack is very durable which is why I know it will last me through the next four years of college. North Face products have never let me down in the past and this is no exception. I like the amount of room for storage in the front pouch. There is room for absolutely everything you could ever need for going to class. I also like the laptop pouch. My 13 inch MacBook Pro fits perfectly which is exactly what I was looking for.

I absolutely love this Northface backpack. It came in the mail in exactly the amount of time it was supposed to and it is absolutely gorgeous. I got the black one because it's neutral and will never get dirty, plus I don't want to ever get sick of it. I plan on using it as long as possible. I'm a sophomore in college and I plan on going to med school so I am hoping it will last throughout med school as well! I happened to get in on sale on this website, so I would suggest that you also GO BUY THIS NOW!!

I bought an earlier version of this backpack about 7 years ago. Its still in great shape and I can't imagine needing to replace it any time soon. It holds my laptop securely and has some nice foam padding at the bottom of the pocket in case of drops (which I have done on a few occasions accidentally with no ill effects). The shoulder straps and hip belts are very comfortable and can adjust to a wide variety of people, including my petite frame. My only complaint is that the mesh side pockets tend to catch on things and rip.

I bought this bag with the intension of using it as a diaper bag and LOVE it! It is small enough to not feel bulky yet large enough to hold everything I need. I have an 18 month old and was using a classic bag for him, when I switched to this bag life has been easier.

I love this backpack! It's the perfect solution for anyone that's looking for an alternative to carrying two bags - one for your laptop and one for everything else. I travel lighter now that everything fits in one bag. Good padding for laptop and several very functional zippered compartments to stay organized. I ordered it in the English green color which is a really great shade of green.

I am a medical student and carry a lot of stuff in my backpack. I was told by my Doctor to get a better backpack with a waist strap since I was having back and neck pain. I purchased the Borealis and I love it! It takes the weight off my shoulders and back and puts it on my hips where it should be. It doesn't fit as much as my previous backpack, but it still is very roomy!

I bought this backpack for hiking in Sequoia Natl Park and Kings Canyon. I also used it as my carryon bag on the plane. It was perfect. I used the numerous compartments to keep my gear organized. It was comfortable to carry; the belly band added support and kept the pack in place. I also found the blue very attractive. In fact, the reason that I didn't buy the women's borealis pack is that it only came in black.

I ordered this backpack specifically for hiking in the New Hampshire mountain area. I ordered the Truckee Pink. I love the back saver panel when hiking and it holds a lot more than I thought. It's another great product by the North Face.

I have had this bag for about a week and a half now, and it's been fantastic. I sometimes spend 12-14 hours a day at school and this bag has more than enough room for all of my books, lunch, sometimes dinner, and my computer. I am very happy with my purchase.

I had my last Northface backpack for over 4 years. I carried it to school everyday, filled with heavy text books. I looked at lots of other brands but Northface has the best features, durability and I love the style. I am really pleased with my new Northface. I just wish the laptop pocket was a little more cushioned.
