These socks are good for everyday wear as well as running. They're not too thick, but still warm. I wear a 7.5 shoe and bought the size small (4-6) and they fit great. No saggie sock syndrome at the end of the day. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because the seams at the corner of the toes stick out a little, and these socks are not as "fitted" in the toes as my cherished Keen socks--the gold star standard in my shoe. I can't comment on durability, as i've only had them a few weeks. I would buy another pair, if they go on sale.

The socks had all the bells & whistles of all the "extra" flex support in areas needed for physical activity. I am pleased with the level of wool, quality, ventilation & secure fitting. I loved the color selection of grey/pink...very girlie! The only disappointment would be the lack of extra added padding that I am accustomed to. The additional cushion under my foot would be a little more beneficial for shock absorbtion.

I am a diehard Smartwool fan from many years back. My fiance was in dire need of some good running socks and since I have had many pairs of PHD's I of course bought her these. She loves them and wears them for everything. She is now a total Smartwool convert. The fit is perfect and the construction is spot on. I see these socks lasting more than a couple years with constant use.

These are the most comfortable, breathable socks I've ever owned. I wear a 7 1/2 - 8 shoe size and the smalls fit great! My daughter took these to camp last week and spent most of the time outdoors. These are great for chilly, damp south Texas weather plus they are also not too hot for days above eighty degrees. I bought these on sale and probably paid $5 -6 less per pair than I could obtain locally. I will be buying more of these.

Even in Long Island heat and humidity my feet were very comfortable in these socks. Smooth seems, no chaffing. I was skeptical about wool for the summer, so I only bought 1 pair, but now I'm a believer. They washed well, and air dried fast. Love smartwool products! I will be buying more.

Good fit for a narrow foot. I tested them on someone larger foot and they provided good stretch.

I have three pairs of these socks, and they are by far my favorite. I wear these year round in the northeast -- they're warm enough to wear in the winter paired with shoe covers, yet they keep my feet cool in summer due to the superb wicking quality of the wool. They dry very quickly after getting wet in the rain, and the cushioned bottom adds comfort to cycling shoes. After a year's worth of washes they still look brand new. I highly recommend these socks, as well as all other Smartwool products.

These socks are fantastic. My activities include walking, running, cycling, yard work, etc. and these will definitely provide extra comfort. I am also very pleased that they are environmentally friendly!!!
