Great Gloves
April 21, 2012
These gloves fit great and I usually have the issue of poor fitting gloves that limit dexterity. Just used them in a 20 mile run that started in the high 30's and climbed into the upper 50's by the end. I didn't feel the need to take them off until the end as the material seems to keep you warm but also breath very well when the hands get a little hot. The grip also seems well made and would likely be useful for other sports that require more gripping.
Pros: well made and comfortable, not too hot when temperatures rise, great fitvery effective for certain uses

For someone who is tired of giant gloves with giant fingers, these are great for preserving finger dexterity when you need it. Work great as an underglove underneath ski gloves for mountain sports. Just keep in mind that, when used alone, these will only be 'warming' when the air around you is static. They are meant to breath, so wind will penetrate the gloves easily and can cool your hands quickly. Also they aren't waterproof/goretex so not adviseable to drop them in a pool of water when running in the rain. But for what they were designed for, these gloves are highly effective.

These gloves are top quality and suit every outdoor sport. The gripper make them perfect for biking, cross country skiing and help your phone not slip out of you hands.

much like their socks... SmartWool is the way to go... This glove is very comfortable, and has great grippers. A perfect liner under my down mittens, when it's really really cold. Just wish they were available in a variety of colors.....
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueThis glove works!

SmartWool makes awesome products! I have not had a bad experience with any SmartWool products and these gloves are no exception. They are comfortable. They have a soft feel and some stretch. They keep my hands warm. I got these gloves for running in Southern California. Our winters can be chilly and mornings are cold well into spring. These gloves keep my hands warm as I do my warm-up walk and once I am running they regulate temperature well. The silicone grips on the palms and fingers make tying shoes easy and anything else that requires grip. If it's wet outside these gloves still keep your hands warm and they dry quickly. I honestly have no gripe about these gloves. If you are looking for a glove to keep you warm during aerobic activities then you can't go wrong with these.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuePerfect for everything

These gloves are perfect for everything. They provide enough warmth down to about 30 degrees. I drive with them on (the grips on them are great). And best of all, when I ski they function as glove liners. Who could ask for more? As for the fit, they are just a little bigger then I expected. I bought the XL's and there is about an extra cm or so on the fingers (I'm 6'3" and have pretty big hands)
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useGreat gloves

I really enjoy these gloves. They keep my hands warm, they look fashionable, they fit well and they have a little grip on them so you can still use your fingers. They are good for weather 40-60 degrees.
Did not like fit or feel

I am a big fan on SmartWool but was disappointed in these gloves. First they fit a little short in the wrist and second they do not breath very well at all, but at the same time if a breeze hits you it goes right through. It seems that they do not wick very well or at all. Still like the other SmartWool stuff that I have bought like gloves and underwear but will pass on their gloves.
