Great socks! Bought these for my guy, and he raves about them. Padding in all of the right areas, thick enough to be comfortable, but not too warm for boarding all day.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useBest socks

Great socks so far, well worth the price. Perfect amount of thickness for comfort and warmth. I can ride all day and they wont slip down my shins at all. I'm likely to buy another pair to throw into the rotation. I can't comment on durability yet as they are fairly new.
Pros: Great design, PerformanceJanuary 05, 2012
i really enjoy wearing the smartwool men's phd medium snowboarding socks. they're actually quite warm cushiony and comfortable. looking forward to getting a few more pairs. one thing though is that they're kinda long.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of useThree pairs, six days of boarding = Great product

I recently took a six day snowboarding trip, alternating three pairs of these Smartwool socks each day. I bought two additional pairs here to supplement the one I've had for a year already. In terms of durability, the one pair I've had for a year doesn't have signs of wear-and-tear despite multiple uses and washes; it's the only socks I wore for snowboarding. The socks are comfortable and keep my foot warm, which is why I chose medium weight. They're also good enough to walk around the house on cold floors if you choose. The socks also do a great job of wicking away sweat; I never felt like my foot was moist or wet during or after snowboarding. They also didn't smell after a day-long ride. The only possible downside is that for some, one pair may be a little on the pricier side. I recommend just buying two pairs and rotating them and you'll be set for multiple rides.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Great valueGreat Snowboard Sock

Not only are the SmartWool socks of such high quality, but it's nice being able to take off your boots and not asphyxiate those around you; wool over synthetics any day!
Pros: Build quality, PerformanceWarm, comfortable socks

Wore these socks for multiple full day snowboard trips. They fit great and keep my feet warm. I like how they extend up the calf for extra warmth. The cushioning design keeps my foot comfortable, even after a full day of boarding. Highly recommended.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceGreat fit, warmth, and dry quickly

I bought these socks to run a 50K trail race. The trail was cover in snow slush and mud in different parts and included a couple of stream crossings. I needed socks that would stay in place for 31 miles of running and keep my feet and lower legs warm even when wet. These socks worked out great. I never had to pull them up or adjust them even with my feet pound trail for 31 miles. I had couple of extra pairs but didn't need to change my socks because they dried so well.
great socks!

I bought these socks for snowboarding. I have 2 other pairs of burton socks also and my feet would get a little cold on chilly days. Also the burton socks started to fall apart. These socks are warmer and seem to be made a lot better than my burtons. I have smartwool socks for hiking and liked them so much I decided to try the ones for snowboarding.
