Gets the job done
February 18, 2012

Bought a pair both for myself (160 lbs lady) and my husband (210 lbs). Bought the L/XL for both of us, and they fit well enough, though we do have to stretch them a bit. They provide enough warmth for 45F rides with wind. I really like the material, but they have rolled down on both of us, if not pulled up enough and put under my shorts. They do stay when "fixed". We both have large thighs for cyclists. Would purchase again.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value

Love these!
January 04, 2012

I am so happy with these! They keep my legs toasty warm without cutting off my curculation, or feeling bulky. Just like the rest of the Smart wool socks I have, I Love these! Great colors too!

Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use
Cons: Cost

keep you warm
November 07, 2011

These have kept my knees and lower legs warm in temps as low as 38 degrees. In freezing weather, they make an effective layer under full length tights. Although they stretch so that skin seems visible through the knits, they are still warm and block the wind. I like that they roll to a very compact "ball" for storage in my jersey pocket.

In general ,Smart Wool kneewarmer has good quaity and nice hand feel. However, the size a little bit small for me even I bought size L/XL. it could be a nice buy if you have a slim legs.

Decent
November 24, 2010

I got these this past fall for some cooler rides and they have been working great. I liked the color (Silver/ Orange) and the style of these in particular compared to the racey looking knee warmers from the other top brands. I don't race so I don't want to look all raced out. The only negative thing that I can say about these is that they seem to have worn pretty fast as I already have a hole on each side. Yes one is from my knee bashing the stem when I broke my chain, though the other might have been just from the bush along the side of the trail.

Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Cons: Wears quickly
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5
