Great shoes, Love the lace system, Look good, feel really good no matter what you use them for. They are very light and durable I run trails with lots of sharp rocks they provide great support, good protection, and have a great sole on them. I have had the tech amphibian shoes for years now and love them

This is my fourth pair of XT WINGS 2 and have not had one problem with any of them. They are sweet running shoes that last longer than most. I run mostly on pavement so can't comment much on trail use. The times I did run on trails they were very stable. I will continue to buy these shoes and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good looking shoe that performs.

I have been running and working out in these shoes for ten months now and am impressed with their durability and comfort, as they are still in good shape. They have a thick sole which is great for trail running but does make the shoe feel slightly clunky at times, but it is really nothing to complain about. I like the quick lace system and not having to worry about laces, but one minor annoyance is the hard rubber joint at the top of the laces which I can feel bouncing on my toes as I run. Overall though those are just minor complaints about what is an excellent shoe. I would definitely recommend this shoe and would purchase it again myself.

I have been running in XT wings since they came out. They are light, but provide good support, excellent traction. If dirt, sand etc, gets in the shoe, you can slip them on/off in 10 seconds because of the quicklace system.

I have just purchased my XT Wings 2 in autobahn/ black/ sprout green. I’ve already run a few races in them. I find them to be very resistant and durable, at the same time lightweight. I run on rugged terrains in harsh weather, and I find that this particular model served me well in the past, and continues to. It’s a well-fitting shoe, which gives the right cushioning and support, and lets the foot breathe. In my experience, this shoe runs large. Performs well in long distance running. I find it to be an excellent choice for me, since it’s virtually indestructible, and esthetically pleasing.

This shoe feels as if you have anything on at all because it is really light and very comfortable. I just llove this shoe and can't wait to buy somme more!!

This trail shoe is rugged, tough and fits like a glove. It took a while to get the laces figured out, but once I did the shoes fit great. The only knock on the shoe is that it is a bit on the heavy side, but then again it isn't a minimalist free running shoe. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

I loved the first generation of this shoe and the second generation looks to be just as awesome, but seems to run alittle bigger in size. XT Wings have terrific cushioning and breathability is amazing. My feet get hot in most other shoes, but not these. Lastly, the lacing system is very convenient. It's easy to tighten, easy to loosen alittle when you want to chill and easy to remove.

I have a high arch, high instep and wide foot and have had nightmares trying to find shoes that fit. I also have been battling Achilles tendonitis. These are the best fitting shoes EVER! It has a nice wide toe box and have no problem at all with any seams or tightness associated with other shoes. I love the quick lacing system which really enhances the fit due to my high instep. They are not too cushioned and not too rigid - i believe this has helped to alleviate my Achilles problem. I use these for crosstraining, running on trails and pavement and they seem to do the job everywhere. I just wish I could wear them to work. I love these shoes and hope Salomon does not change a thing in the design. Cons: I tried to buy the size 12 in the GTX (gortex) version and they did not fit the same. The gortex version was very tight in the toe box and made my feet go numb while wearing them around the house.
