Solid goggle for POC helmet + small face
January 27, 2010
Solid goggle for POC helmet + small face After a 2 year search for a new helmet and goggle combo (I had a boeri and smith anthems), i ended up buying a POC Frontal. Unfortunately, most other goggles don't quite fit the POCs (as the holder in the back is rather low, so my Smiths would push down too far on my face, and not fit under neath the holder due to the clasp size). I broke down and ordered the styley Iris X in white, which are super b/c they havd various sizes. The smalls are great and the band is lined with rubber so it really sticks/stays on the helmet. the dual lens is good, and they offer thorough sun blockage on super sunny tahoe days. I haven't used them in a storm yet, but i am assuming they'll be fine, with the dual lens (no vent on these). one caveat- they do not have a clip on the them so they do not easily come off if you do want to do some adjusting, and they *just* fit under the holder in the back, but it ultimately makes them a really nice system-- IF you have the POC helmet.
