I searched for this fitz roy platinum tarpon for a while, couldn't make up my mind which trucker hat I wanted. I am very pleased with this hat. It looks even better in person than on the site. This hat will only get better as it gets broken in. I'm already looking @ another one!! I am 6ft 180lbs with thick curly hair and this cap hides my mop really well! Thumbs Up!

I bought this piece for it's design. When it was delivered, I instantly knew that it was built with quality. Since it is new, there will be an expected break-in period. If you are interested in keeping it looking new and "crispy" then you will be satisfied with this.

This hat is stylish, and branded with an extremely positive and "much needed" message. I wear it because it looks good, it's supporting an environmentally responsible company, and it gives people who reads its message (Live Simply) the opportunity to be reminded of what is truly important in their lives. perfect fit, nice and deep with just quality seen in the craft man-ship. I bought all different type of styles too. I just wished they still offered the one with the trout on it but the tarpon still looks great with the fits roy pattern.

These Patagonia hats are your classic trucker hat with a well vented mesh area and a high dome. Besides looking cool, they also help keep you cool. Hats are pretty large, so if you have a small head they might be a little too big.

This one is much easier to break in than the previous years! Fits great, great quality as always from Patagonia! 3 trees patch looks great. I also have purchased the trout hat and it looks and fits great as well!

I Love this hat. I have worn these hats previously and the new designs are just as great! i got to green/gray trucker with gpiw. Ilove it. Maybe! I bought another just because I like this one so much. Fits great, looks good...BAM! I will say I feel like Patagonia charges too much for their hats. I'm sure it wont last very long as none of my hats do. So, if it were just a bit cheaper it would get an excellent rating.

I have worn this hat constantly since I received it in the mail! It is light weight, and is deep enough for my head. Some hats are too shallow and don't fit deep enough. This one sits just above my ears. (I have an average size head).

Really dig this hat. It's got a great style that is good on or off the wall. Plus, it fits will with the adjustable strap in the back. The only complaint I have is that it can sometimes be a bit wide because of the rigidity of the logo area. Other than that, highly recommended.

I have a couple of these patagonia trucker hats from a couple years ago, and they used to fit perfectly. I saw some new 2011 styles I liked, and ordered another one with the expectation that they would fit like previous seasons. Unfortunately, the 2011 patagonia trucker hats are simply too large for my head. When compared with the same hat from 2009, the 2011 version is almost comically large. It's too bad, because they are good quality hats.

Bring back the '09 trucker hat patagonia!

I have a couple of the '09 Patagonia trucker hats, and I loved them so much I decided to grab a new one. However, Patagonia has decided that all of our heads are now huge and made trucker hats to fit. My usual hat size is a M/L or 7 1/4, so not exactly small, but this trucker hat is huge. I thought if I washed and dried it then it would shrink some (much like my '09 hat), but even after that this hat still covers the top of my ears if I pull it down all the way, and if I don't, it looks like I'm going Elmer Fudd style with a huge poofy hat. Unfortunately, I'm going to return it and I guess I'll try one of Patagonia's other hats, maybe the Logo.

I love this hat. I have worn these hats previously and the new designs are just as great! i got to green/gray trucker with the trout and it is awesome! the colors are good and match the picture. Only negative is for some people the hat might ride too low on the head. Its like the hat is too tall. This isnt a huge deal but could be annoying to some users. Overall great hat. I will be buying another soon.

I own 8 for this design. Trucker hat of Patagonia is so versatile that you can wear throughout the year. It looks good for daily casual attire and also when you are in action in sports and so on. Patagonia these days seems to have some sizing issue. The hats I had purchased last year and two years ago fit so well and I didn't feel too tight or too loose with three holes pressed with adjuster belt. But one of the hats I bought this time felt a bit tight. I don't know why. Other than that I really like addition of designs to the series.

I love this hat and love Patagonia as a company. The only negative thing I have to say about the hat is that the patch is very very slightly crooked although most people probably wouldn't even notice. Other than that it's great. Please don't buy this hat, I don't want you cramping my style.

I'm gonna be honest, I was hesitant on buying a trucker hat, but Patagonia's trucker hats have completely changed my mind! I got the navy blue hat with the guitar. I have always had problems finding a nice fitting hat, and this hat fits like none other! Seriously, I want to get every color! I don't know how may of you have seen 'The Expendables', but Sylvester Stallone totally is wearing one! I think everyone should own at least one of these hats :)
