Appear to be very good quality. Haven't used them yet. Replaceable strap is a nice feature. Women's sizing is a nice option. That should about cover it.

I bought these gaiters after reading many positive reviews. However, I am slightly dissapointed. The buckles of the straps started rusting after only a couple of uses. I don't understand why they're made from material that can rust - obviously gaiters are getting wet. Also, I got a medium size to fit the gaiters over winter hiking boots. They are too wide below the knee but just alright around the ankle. Maybe I should have bought the small. I also don't trust that the velcro will last very long, it does look sturdy but the stitching is coming off already a bit. These gaiters are supposed to be the most durable on the market - let's see...they do look good though and so far do they job.

5'2" petite - small fits perfect. pleased with comfort and quality of fit. high quality materials. simple and light to wear. perfect for ice climbing and glacier trekking as I often snag my crampons on baggy pants, which can be hazardous to safety! this product is perfect for reducing crampon snags. would recommend to all mountaineering friends.

I really like these gaiters they're really durable and easy to get on and off. The gortex upper part definitly prevents my pants from getting wet in the snow. I originally bought the OR Women's Verglas Gaiter, but returned them to get the Womens Crocodile Gaiter because I liked the idea of being able to replace the strap that goes under the boot instead of having to buy a whole other pair. I'm about 5' 7'' size 8 1/2 shoe and the size M comes up to about an inch below my knee, it fits well around my leg with pants or shorts.

These work great for winter outdoor sports. I used them snowshoeing and hiking in the snow. I got a Medium - I'm 5'-6" and size 8 shoe. They come up to just below my knee. They fit over snow pants, but if you only plan to use them with a thin pant layer the medium might be too big. OR makes great products and they have great warranties too. I would recommend spending the extra couple of bucks to get OR gear.

Super nice, love the OR women's gear. I used the size chart and ordered a medium, but they are a little too baggy. I am about 5 feet tall and the height was OK but cannot cinch them tight enough at top. I am going to try a small. Excellent service from Altrec!

This was my first pair of gaiters. So I wanted something I would get a lot of use out of and have for many years. The first time I used them I was satisfied with the materials and workmanship, they are very well made. It was worth the extra money I spent.

After trying on numerous gaiters sized for men it was a joy to put on a pair that were sized for a woman's leg. No more baggy and too long gaiters! I still had a little extra width. However, given the opportunity, I'd might buy a small rather than medium. Gaiters need more specs, not just S,M, and L! How about length and max and min circumference. I wore my new gaiters on a 60ish rainy day on the West Highland Way. Not only did they keep mud out of my shoes and off my pants, but my legs didn't sweat buckets.
