Great water bottle carrier
August 10, 2011
This bottle carrier makes staying hydrated easy. No need to tweak your shoulder anymore reaching for backpack holders or using water bladders. It hangs from my pack waist belt in the 1 o'clock postion and is not in the way.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of useWorks as advertised

Simple and functional. I lined mine with mylar/bubblewrap and my 800 ml SS bottle fits in it just fine.
Pros: Ease of use, Great valueFlimsy bottle holder

OR typically makes high-quality items, and USED to make an open-top bottle holder with drawstring cord fitting a standard 1-liter Nalgene bottle . Now if you opt for this new holder instead of their ultrahefty and bulky zip-top holder, you'll end up with a thin Cordura sack with no shape of its own, no insulation, and no reinforcement. I would expect a hole to wear in the bottom with little use, e.g. laying down your backpack, to which the tote is attached at the belt, onto sharp rock. While this is a slim, lightweight option for easy hikes in warm weather, the absence of insulation and reinforcement make it a non-option for skiing with a backpack or regular-duty backpacking.
Pros: Ease of useGreat find!

This tote is perfect for keeping my water bottle close at hand while backpacking or hiking. My standard-size Nalgene fits perfectly and the adjustable Velcro straps hold it securely to my belt.
Functional & sturdy

It's made out of heavy-duty material and quickly 'velcros' onto your belt or pack. The drawcord closure does not hold in smaller water bottles, but it works well for anything larger.
Worthwhile Product

The tote is an effective tool for use in adding additional water or other liquids to the carry. It is well made, light, strong, and easy to use. The drawstring might be a bit longer to allow easier use with gloves on, but the product has served its intended purpose well.
excellent

Well made, excellent product. Note the reviewer that gave it one star was reviewing using criteria for a different type of product. It is not an insulated jacket, it is a tote bag, for which it works well.
Great - Perfect fit

1 bought a liter nike water bottle in San Fran last month and went on the internet to find your water bottle tote. I fill my bottle with ice cube about 8 a.m. and they are still with me late into the afternoon. Great item. Highly recommended. comes with belt holder.

Many uses, light to carry

My friend Martine was going backpacking in the Sierras and wanted to keep weight to a minimum. I gave her my 1 liter water bottle tote. When she came back she said she ended up using it to carry her jacket and was all praises. Useful item
Not Insulated!
August 09, 2006
These are very nice looking jackets for water bottles but a bit impractical for what a jacket should do. I would have hoped they were insulated even just a little but they are not. The water warms up way too quickly because of the black color and in humid weather the bottle sits in a puddle of water inside the jacket. I would not recommend them.
Simple, Yet Effective

I used this to cover and partially insulate a water bottle. The material is durable, the velcro fastener is heavy duty and very useful, and the drawstring works fine. Transforms a simple water bottle into a protected & portable hiking accessory.
