NRS Whitewater Kayak Sherpa
Description
Haul your boat and gear comfortably and securely on your back with our new backpack kayak carrying system. Fits any boat, positioned bow or stern up, with your back against either the hull or the cockpit opening. Three long, heavy-duty webbing straps clip around the middle and both ends to ensure a secure hold. Stows easily in the back of your boat when you're on the water.

Works Great

I had to hike my kayak down a steep canyon into the Bruneau to make a day trip, vs. the normal 2 day trip it takes. This was before I bought the sherpa. My shoulder was badly bruised from the trip, though the whitewater made up for it. With the sherpa now, it is simple and easy. I love it. Well worth the money.

The NRS Whitewater Kayak Sherpa does the job for which it was designed. Strap it to your boat and then put the boat on your back like a big backpack. What more can I say?
Great item to prevent injury and stress to neck

This item is great because normally kayakers carry their kayaks on one or the other shoulder which over time leads to scoliosis of the spine and neck. This item allows even placement on both shoulders preventing injury and stress on kayaker's shoulders.

*Center to Center is the distance from the center of one tube to the center of the other tube.
**Length of frame is limited to the flat area on top of the tubes.
Your frame should be as wide or wider than your boat's center-to-center measurement. Determine this measurement by taking the width of your boat and subtracting the diameter of one main tube: C = W - D (where Center = raft Width minus tube Diameter). If the width of our frame doesn't match your numbers exactly, be sure to order a frame slightly wider than your center-to-center measurement.
