NRS Tie downs are the best! NRS tie downs webbing is thicker so they work, My Yakima tie down have thinner webbing and loosen up and wear out quickly. Bought these to use 3 for a Pulk sled for this winter but will also use them for holding down the kayak's on the jeep!

If you are white water rafter these straps are a must!! You can never have enough of them either. These straps have so many uses its crazy. Everything from packing up the truck to locking down everything in your boat. You do not have to be a rafter to use these straps they can be used for more things then you can imagine. Great strength and durability. I would recommend these straps to anyone.

These straps seems to be built tough, and I expect them to last a long time. I got them to tie stuff down to my new roof rack, and they seem to hold pretty darn good. I'm very satisfied.

Straps are like Rodney Dangerfield, they get no respect for the day in, day out grunt work they perform, until they aren't there and you have to make due with some poor second choice substitute. The NRS straps look like they'll take a beating for a long time. Used mine immediately after they arrived to strap three big Xmas trees down to my rack (2 were being delivered to other folks). They stayed nice and tight, even at 75MPH. Older straps I've owned have abraded to sketchiness, or the buckles have failed. It's more likely that I'll lose these to my brother before they wear out....

I would never think that such a simple item would be so functional....These things are bombproof....I keep a quiver of sizes in my van and can use them for just about everything.....Would highly recommend!

Although the 1 foot strap is extremely small, it's still kick ass! Easy to strap your try bag into your kayak keeping it close and not having any excess strap floating around your feet in your boat!

I use this strap mainly on my bike to secure heavy stuff that falls of when I hit big bumps cruising around town. It fits perfectly around my contoured water bottle for easy access and has a cool tag for your name

And they're not just for rafting anymore! Besides holding my Bighorn I frame to "Big Blue" they work great securing camping gear to the dogsled I tow behind my snowmobile at 55 MPH. And did I mention roof rack cargo on the Subaru? Yeah that too. I've never been disappointed by anything from NRS. All their gear is professional grade and built to last.

These were my first chance to use the NRS straps, and like everything NRS, they kick some serious butt. I have only used Thule straps before these, and they are night and day better. I have a bunch of 15 and 20 footers, and will be buying some more of the smaller sizes soon.

They have unlimited uses... I use them on my raft, canoe, binding up camp gear and also strapping stuff to my luggage rack on my motorcycle, etc., etc. They are strong, and very easy to use. If you are strapping an object to two fixed points, they also offer "loop straps" that work very well. Overall great product!

We use these for just about every kayak, bike and construction item we carry. I do believe they did at one time have a piece of fabric located under the buckle to prevent damage to either the item being hauled, or the rack it was attached to. I have not found any of those for some time. Still, this is the best strapping I have used, but, I would like to see that additional fabric added back under the buckle.
