Great way to keep from losing your sunglasses
July 20, 2011

These are a great item to have. They really do keep your sunglasses afloat. Like others have mentioned, they are a bit large in size but it's worth it if your 'shades are expensive! This is my second set that I've ordered!

it is a big retainer
November 04, 2010

this retainer is big, but not heavy when you put it on. if your eyeglasses ever fall in water, you will be able to find it quickly. I have several retainers, but this one really works.

Pros: Great design

Works but not as appears
July 27, 2010

Received the items and although they work, the picture is a bit deceiving. Both cords were not black but brightly multi-colored. One was rainbow and the other was yellow/green/red. Not that nice looking, but I guess it does the job. Probably would not have bought them if I knew they looked like that. But I suppose as long as it prevents me from losing my glasses, that is what matters.

Don't lose your sunglass
May 28, 2010

I have been looking for something like this. It is a kind of drag losing your sunglass in a river with no place to hide yourself from the sun during your week long river trip. Although I have not used them in the field yet, I' pretty sure they'll be working alright because of the simplicity of the product and it is NRS.

not worth it
November 15, 2009

It does the job, but it only fits sunglasses with narrower ends. I also don't like the way the blob of foam flaps around in the wind and bats me on the back of the head. According to my wife and kids it looks pretty dorky too. I'm looking for a different style of floating retainers now.

Light and does the job!
August 12, 2007

This works perfectly, the only problem was that I purchased it only after losing two pairs of expensive sunglasses. On the first day out kayaking with new sunglasses this NRS product saved my sunglasses from being the new specs to a pacific grouper.

GREAT

worth every penny

Easy to put on but a little too easy to come off if your glasses don't have big end pieces. But all and all a very good product.
