Great Big Water PFD
March 22, 2011
This PFD provides at least 25% more floation than most other PFD's and like all other products made by NRS, it is good quality. It's a little bulky but you'd expect that for high floation, yet it is VERY comfortable. No arm restriction when paddling or rowing. It did ride up a bit because it's difficult to cinch tight the bottom waist strap. My husband is a pretty big guy and he had to let out the shoulder and side straps quite a bit but with all the adjustments available, he too is able to wear this same jacket. My biggest and only real complaint is that there are no pockets or lash tabs. MTI does sell a removable lashtab called the MTAB though that I think we'll invest in.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, comfortable
Cons: no lash tabs, bulky
