I have owned about 5 pairs of 993's and it's predecessors and they always come through. Great balance of cushioning and support. Very stylish. Highly recommended!

Great running shoe. I've worn this line of product for years and used them exclusively for races. The sneakers are long-lasting, light, and my feet and shins never hurt after long runs.

I was looking for a new pair of walking shoes and didn't have a whole lot of choice since my shoe size is a 13 AA. I dashed off an email to my podiatrist, who recommended the New Balance MR993. I was a little skeptical about using a running shoe for walking purposes until I tried the shoe on, and then I was sold. Comfortable from the start, the MR993 has taken very little breaking in and has provided the support and comfort that I am used to from New Balance Shoes. I haven't bought any new walking shoes in about seven years and the feel of the MR993 versus the fit of my old shoes proves to me that I waited way too long to get a new pair of shoes. I would heartily recommend this shoe, both for running and for walking.

Last two pairs of 992s that I owned were navy, but I decided to try an all gray pair for my first 993s. Love the shoe. Very comfortable, very stylish, and it's the best sneaker you can buy that doesn't look dorky when you're dressing casual with shorts or jeans. I also like that I'm buying a 100% made-in-America product.

I bought these shoes for my husband to wear on our daily walks. There is lots of cushion in the heel and the shoe is light. He has a narrow foot so he finds the toe box has ample room but not to the point of being too big.

I am more of a power walker than a runner but I wanted running shoes because I figured that they would be more comfortable and they were. The New Balance shoes met my expectations nicely. They look and feel nice. I highly recommend these shoes if you are going to power walk or maybe good for running too.
