I have several Mountainsmith Moudular Hauler systems that I use for a variety of uses, and have found them excellent and versatile. They are perfect for automotive road trips- I spent about two months living out of my truck, climbing, hiking and camping in Colorado this past summer, and the Modular Cubes were perfect for organizing gear. I could designate different colors for different types of gear, and even have one designated as a 'dirty clothes' bag. I have also used them for shorter road trips to organize segments- so you can have a couple days worth of clothing sorted depending on activities and simply change out the cubes as you go along. I also use them for organizing work "field gear" in the garage so I can grab what I need, depending on my schedule for the day / week ahead and know that I have everything I need at hand. The deluxe cooler is also excellent, fits into the system, makes an excellent passenger seat caddy, and is great for carrying along to picnics and outdoor sporting events. The quality is exceptional, and the versatility of the system is outstanding. They are not great for airline travel, but if you are land based- they are an ideal system.
