Great Jean, a bit small in the waist
March 16, 2011

I normally wear another out brand of jeans and decided to give these a try. Lighter in weight, more comfortable, A bit small in the waist. I normally wear a 31" 32 are usually more comfortable. these a a bit more fitted. Would buy again.

Watchout athletic build!
January 11, 2011

The jeans are of exceptional quality, however Mountain Khaki sizing is not like the rest. If you have an athletic build where your legs are bigger in proportion to your waist, you will find them too tight in the thigh and hips, but large around the waist.

Favorite Jeans
December 12, 2010

I really like these jeans and was surprised to find them more comfortable than my usual jeans. They have a comfortable, stretchy feel and seem lighter than many of my other (bulkier) jeans. I'm not sure how long they will last, but they seem well built. The gusset helps them remain comfortable too, either sitting or getting around. The pockets are not like the typical MK pants that I have owned, so they are harder to access, but look more like traditional jeans. Guess it's a trade off on that... It seems strange to me that MK appears to be abandoning making jeans and I'm hoping these aren't the last of them. I would easily buy another pair if they were available in my size. I'd recommend to buy them while you can, if you can find one that fits.

a good choice
December 05, 2010

The quality of Mountain Khaki's Original Mountain Jean is excellent. The feel of the fabric is also very good. I plan to buy more of the company's products.

Really nice pants
December 04, 2010

These fit great and are true to size. Excellent quality. Mountain Khakis are always top notch...jeans or otherwise. Great stuff!

A Satisfied Customer

These are nice pants!
May 16, 2010

If you are tired of the "same old" jeans, try these Mountain Khakis. These are great pants, from what I can tell, a great company. The pants are very well made; the attention to detail (unique pockets, for example) is alone is worth the price. Though not made in the USA, they are definitely high quality; so, whoever is doing MK's manufacturing is doing a good job. My only criticism is about the color/shade of the Light Indigo. It is on the dark side (substantially darker than the photo). In fact the photo looks good, MK should just make them lighter in color. I would have preferred them in a lighter denim. All in all, I recommend this product.

Great pair of jeans.
March 29, 2010

These jeans are tough as nails. I have other pants by MK and these are just as great as those. The sizing is always a bit iffy, but these run truer to size than, say, the Alpine pant. I typically wear about a 29/30" waist but with the Alpine I had to get a 32". I was able to get a 30" in the Original Mountain Jean, so it worked out. The gusseted crotch is fantastic. If you don't have anything like that, try it out...it allows for such better movement!

Good pants, fairly true to size
March 28, 2010

I purchased the 34" waist 30" inseam because the 34" waist 32" inseam was really long for me. I am 5'10".

great pants
March 16, 2010

These pants are extremely comfortable and durable as are most Mountain Khaki products.

comfy roomy jeans
March 05, 2010

These jeans are now the most comfy jeans I own. I had been wanting to try some of the Mountain Khaki pants and found the great sale price last week on Altrec so I couldn't pass them up. I had originally ordered 1 pair but called back and ordered a second pair!! They didn't have the dark indigo in stock in my size so I ordered the light....but they are much darker than what the image shows. The waist fit is great but the 32 inseam seems kind of long...but not too bad. As others have reviewed, the fit is very roomy and comfortable. I've always had issues with the fit in the thighs and crotch area and the extra gusset eliminates this problem and the fabric stretches nicely to allow a good range of movement. I would definitely recommend these jeans to others. I may just have a new favorite brand!

Quality materials and workmanship but waist sizing is way small
February 18, 2010

These jeans have excellent detailing but fit far too tight in the waist/hips. What I mean is, I normally wear a 33 waist (for Gap and Banana Republic jeans) and even the 34 was too snug. I have sent them back for a 35" waist and am hoping they will finally fit without feeling like a restrictive girdle (not that I have ever worn one). The dark indigo is pretty dark--a 23 y/o girl at work described them as having an "80's color," whatever that is (I think she was talking about the fact that their is no distressing or spot fading in the fabric...they are simply a consistent stonewashed blue color). I am hoping the light indigo are also darker than pictured...in which case they will be perfect. Also, the rounded "carpenter style" back pockets are atypical for blue jeans of this style, but that's not really a deal breaker for me.

Sweet jeans, forget normal store bought jeans
February 09, 2010

The gus. crotch is just what athletic and active guys need. I'm now a big fan. I've also

Great fitting pants
February 02, 2010

These pants fit great and have plenty of room to move with the design of the crotch. They did not shrink in the wash and seemed to be true to size in the waist. The length may be a little longer than other jeans I have but that is better anyway for active pants.

Mark Allen

Great Jeans
January 25, 2010

Very good jeans that are easy to break in and the gusseted crotch is always a plus for extra comfort. The pockets are too shallow however, unlike the Original Mountain Pants, but it's nothing to worry about.

Excellent Jeans.
January 21, 2010

Best jeans I've owned. A little tighter on waist than expected from size, but still great buy.

Quality
January 19, 2010

Comfortable jeans that are stylish enough to wear going out and rugged enough to go hiking in.

Great fit, bullet-proof construction, very comfortable!
January 18, 2010

Thought the fit is a little on the low-rise side, these fit me perfectly everywhere else. Great length, which helps a tall guy like me. Perfect fit through the butt and legs as they are comfortable but not baggy. The fabric chosen and details used are excellent. DEFINITELY a cut above!

Great jeans
January 14, 2010

This is a wonderful pair of jeans. If you have worn Mountain Khakis before you know they often fit a bit large, not these. The fit is right on at the waist. They are a little baggier than your average jeans. The fabric is extremely comfortable. I love that the coloration is rich throughout without the wiskering of most jeans nowadays. One note on the lighter color; they aren't that light. I really like the color but it isn't much lighter than the dark indigo. All in all, good stuff.

Great fitting jeans
January 11, 2010

These jeans are very comfortable to wear and easy to break in.

Good fit
January 02, 2010

These jeans fit well. Good price also

Normal jeans :-/
December 20, 2009

I bought these jeans expecting a more rigid pair of jeans like the original mountain pants. I like the brand, butcthey were simply a thin pair of jeans and the color was much darker than I expected. They do seam like a good quality pair of pants, but I did not prefer the style.

I Like
December 19, 2009

Pants fit just as sized. They stretch a little, as to be expected. A good buy.

Comfortable
December 18, 2009

Like it a lot. I love to have 30/30 size instead of 32/32

Great
December 15, 2009

Caution with the light wash color, it is not so light but more of a regular blue looking color, but comfortable as all get-out.

Awesome Jeans
December 04, 2009

These jeans fit well, a little tight in the waist, but do stretch out after a couple hours. The stretch in the fabric make these incredibly comfortable.

Big Fan
December 01, 2009

Big fan of these pants though it seems like the jeans fit a bit more tight than the traditional Khakis

Excellent Jeans - Tight fit
November 30, 2009

Excellent Jeans - The craftsmanship that went into them is notable and you will feel the difference. Wish I had gone a bit longer on the legs - probably will for my next pair.

Great Jeans
November 30, 2009

Just like all other mountain khaki products. Great quality and feel really soft. I probably should have ordered them a little smaller cause they stretch out just a tad after wearing them.

i like 'em...
November 16, 2009

As all the write-ups say, these jeans are wicked comfortable. The extra gusset gives a lot more flexibility and range of motion, and it's easy to see that they're definitely well made. I would recommend ordering a size larger than you normally wear (in the waist). The 32's that I bought are a snug compared to every other pair of 32's I've got in other brands. The pockets are also a little tough to get in and out of, but I'm guessing that these issues should start to work themselves out as I break them in over time.

awesome jeans
November 13, 2009

I just bought two more pairs of the same jeans because my husband loves them. He has other Mountain Khaki pants and doesn't like any other brand of pants anymore. The jeans are not too thick and more comfortable than many other jeans, especially with the gusset. The Original Mountain Pant is also another favorite. Highly recommended!

An awsome pant by mountain khakis
November 09, 2009

I own 4 pairs of mountain khakis, and the jeans are my favorite pair. They are more comfortable than any other jean I've ever had. They're also stylish and are bound to last for a long time. The men's original mountain jean has the same features as the original pant too.

Jay Revson

comfortable, good fit
September 14, 2009

very true to size, but the color seems to be a lot darker than I wished.

Dennis Riggin

Good fitting and comfortable
August 19, 2009

The jeans have a tiny bit of spandex which makes them more comfortable than regular jeans. The material is lighter weight than typical jeans so I do not know if they will wear as well. Time will tell.

great fit and style
July 22, 2009

The diamond gusset and 12.5 oz denim combine to make an extremely comfortable pair of jeans. I've already purchased two more pairs of Mountain Khakis (Teton Twill and Cottonwood Cord) to wear to work. Best fitting pants that I've ever owned.

great
February 07, 2009

great pants. well made.great fit. comfortable . great online buying experience.

great fitting jeans, very comfortable
January 24, 2009

I'm a woman who doesn't fit the hipster styles - so I'm always looking for a pair of men's pants that fit. These have become my favorite jeans - gusset is great, fabric is very comfortable, straight legs look great and are great for walking, etc. Plus how can you beat organic cotton?

My New Favorite Jeans
December 24, 2008

I've had these jeans now for about 2-3 weeks and they've become my favorite. They are super comfortable with a great fit and look. Too early to speak to durability, but I am impressed with the construction. Highly recommend the MKOMJ.
