Kinda Small
January 22, 2010
I actually returned the bag because it was too small for me. I am 5'11 165 pounds and I got a little claustrophobic. The bag though was very nicely built and very light. I was sad to send it back because I have heard great things about this bag. Maybe if you around 5'9" and 140-145 of smaller this bag would be just right. I still gave it a try out in 10degree weather in the back yard and I was very comfortable. Hope this helps
Warm and toasty
July 01, 2009
I used this bag recently backpacking through the Rockies. We were at high elevations for the duration of the trip and this bag kept me nice and warm on the chilly nights. I'm a cold sleeper and woke up snuggly warm each morning (even my feet which are notoriously like ice cubes). The only complaint I had was having to get out of it each morning!
One great bag..

I am a cold sleeper and own other 0deg. bags and have used them down to 15-17 deg. and was cold and confined all night long. I just took my MH Phantom 0 long on it's maiden trip to the Sierras in 2-3ft of snow on the ground with temps getting down to around 5deg F. at night. I slept toasty warm all night only wearing a base layer and actually had to partially unzip and open the bag to keep from being too warm. The bag lofts up nicely and is very comfortable with plenty of room to move. I am a side sleeper and change sides often throughout the night and never felt confined or restricted. The only things I would like to see improved would be a more water resistant finish as the bag did have some dampness to the shell from condensation by morning and if the bag came with a compression sack instead of just a stuff sack.
