I have kept my eye on this vest for several months, and I just bought it as it went on sale. I am so glad that I finally did! I bought the purple color in size medium (Personally, I am always somewhere in between a small and a medium so I decided to size up in case I wanted to layer with heavier clothing underneath). It fits and looks great! If I were a true medium, it would probably be slightly more form-fitting- as it is, when I sit down it bunches up kind of funny- but the length is perfect for my long torso! I am 5'8" and thin. A small would have probably worked just fine for my body type, but the length might have been shorter than I would want. So despite my tiny sizing issue, this vest is very well crafted and a great purchase- the 'fur' is gorgeous and just as soft as it looks! I have not washed it yet and am trying to avoid too much of it so as not to pill the fur. I sometimes wear this as a layer when I am snow-shoeing or hiking, but mostly just as a cute 'out-on-the-town' winter piece. What a great way to stay warm and adorable out there all season!

I was looking for a vest that would keep me warm but not look like I was ready to hit the mountains. This vest is the perfect combination of style and utility. I wear it everywhere. Received it as a Christmas gift and now my daughters and friends want one. Awesome product!

This body of this vest has a sleek look. The faux fur feels very cozy and does not look at all cheap as is sometimes the case. It's often difficult to tell about a hood from online images. This one is flattering - up or down. It is substantial though not bulky and frames the face nicely - however you wear it. I can't say anything yet about durability - but I've had good luck in the past with Marmot.

LOVE this vest. I have tried so many different ones- they are either too puffy or too short- this one is beautifully made, slim-fitting and long. Nice cut, beautiful fur collar. Love it.

Sporty with that touch of dressy. A Vegan jacket that looks faux, but nice! (M) is big enough to have layers under it. I'm an 8/C/5'6". I ordered Blk. Not sure that (S) would have been Big enough for the "Girls". This is perfect for travel. Warm layers.

True to what you would expect from Marmot the materials and quality are fantastic. The faux fur is as thick and soft as possible. But the shape is very unflattering. it is box shaped, flat across the chest and does not taper in much for the waist. I sent it back. true to size.....

just fyi, the fur is in the hood, around the neck and down the zipper but not in the interior. The vest is still super warm.

This is a stunning vest which flatters the face and figure. I like it so much I bought two different colors. Now I have a hooded vest that I can wear under my hoodless jackets, and for extra warmth I also wear this vest under my hooded jackets. I can't wait for it to get warmer out so I can wear it alone. When the vest is zipped all the way up, the fur frames the neck in a perfect unbroken oval. The picture doesn't show that, & it's hard to describe, but trust me it looks gorgeous. The fur is well made, beautiful and cuddly. There's a nice band of fur on the inside that goes all the way down behind the zipper. This vest is a definite winner so don't be afraid to order it!

This vest is definitely worth the price. It fits perfectly....I bought a Large and normally wear a Large in Turtle Dove...sometimes vests are too small in the bust for me but this one fits like a glove. It is warm too! Can't wait for snow to really test it out. The length is great....not too short, not too long. The fur hood is absolutely to die for. ADORABLE! and yet very sporty! Very happy with it!

Good quality, nicely shaped. The fake fur hood makes the entire vest. Perfect for spring skiing.

This is thin, warm as a mid-layer or outer layer, and breathable. The fur collar makes it fun. For downhill skiing I wear it under my parka. The collar adds interest and the vest helps insulate me from the New England cold. (As one of the 5 layers I wear on top...) It is also breathable enough to wear cross country skiing and cool enough to wear around town. (Also, I'm on the shorter side and length of the vest is perfect. It's cute, not dowdy.)

I love this vest and from the first minute I put it on I have received numerous compliments. I wanted an alternative to my down vests and this fits perfectly. Fit is according to sizing.
