Excellent Under All Conditions
November 17, 2011

I've had this piece for a couple of months now and I have to say that it works well at everything that I've thrown at it. Running, cycling, and daily wear are all excellent. I will be trying it out with nordic skiing this winter and look forward to using it for years to come. It fits true to size, has good flexibility, and the pockets have excellent placement for access.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value

tough, durable, light vest
November 05, 2011

Worth the money - excellent quality vest - athletic fit, smooth, light, softshell material with a breathable side-panels. The pocket configuration is perfect (it even includes the internal zippered pocket), and the internal lining wicks the sweat. I use it for morning cycling commutes or daily around the campus. The only thing I would omit is the reflective logo on the front and back, although very useful when on the bike. Highly recommended, I prefer this vest over arc'teryx gamma soft-shell vest.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use

Perfect
May 08, 2011

I was looking for a vest, mostly for my commute, to layer with a fleece - I commute to NYC where it can be extremely windy in the winter months and rather than a puffy down jacket I prefer to layer - and this vest fits the bill. its lightweight but warm enough to handle a 20 degree day with my north face apex on top and im finding its perfect for the crisp spring mornings. looks sharp with business casual attire as well.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
Comfort: 4 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Great vest for cool weather cycling
January 05, 2011

Purchased this vest mainly for cycling but I also wanted to be able to wear it around town without looking like I just finished the Tour De France. After several rides in the vest with temps ranging from 30-50F I am very pleased with it's performance. Small fits perfect (5'5", 140 lbs, stocky) A far as styling the "laser-drilled" pockets are a nice touch, not a huge fan of the reflective logos but they are functional for night rides. Overall a great buy!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
Cons: Cost

Excellent

This is what I wanted a windproof vest for spring and fall. I use it for running mostly and then some MT Biking. It's a perfect layer and it basically works very well at keeping the evening chill away. It is also good with light rain as well.

This vest is really great. I bought it for running in winter and it serves its purpose. I also use under my shell for skiing as well as all around warm layer. the fit is slim and long. I like the chest pocket for my i pod nano. Worth every penny.
