Works for me
April 21, 2012
I like this cap a lot. I needed a ball cap for hiking with a bit more substance to it than the mesh-type caps. It is light and comfortable and sets a new benchmark for wicking: Having a bald head, before a hike, I always slather sunscreen on my head, just in case. When I sweat, the sunscreen comes out, typically leaving a yucky white crusty residue. If you are bald, you know what I mean. When I wear this cap, it wicks the sunscreen to the *outside* of the cap; the inside is clean. Simply amazing. Most importantly though, it is washable. I toss it in on gentle cycle and dry it on low and it eliminates the salt/sunscreen build up that destroys a lot of caps that aren't washable. Highly recommended!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, washableA great running cap

I like the hat, it is really light and you hardly notice on your head. The bill is nice and long if you run in the rain, it really keeps the weather out of your eyes. The Driclime sweat band is very efficient at wicking the sweat away.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useGreat Hat

I use this for backpacking. I like the nylon shell on a hat, but I have a lot of trouble finding one that doesn't have a neck flap, or a chin strap, or some other bells and whistles. This hat was comfortable, and the sweat band does not let the perspiration bleed through and put a sweat ring on the outside of the hat. Plus, it was on sale which made it even better. I can't say enough about this hat!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
