a bit cool sleeping
February 01, 2012
Not the warmest bag in the world, but very light. I think the temp. rating is a little optimistic, but ok for a 3 season bag. I was a little disappointed that it came shipped in a box that required more compression than I would normally store my bag. I hope its not stored in such a small space (about 50% compressed) for a long time.
Pros: Build quality, lightweightNice Bag

Nice Bag. Very light, nice quality and material. Packs super small and looks to be a great mid temp bag. Would be nice if it had a draft collar to make the minimum 30 deg temp rating. Long bag is roomy for 6 ft 2 in / 165lbs.
Pros: Build quality, Great valueGreat 3 season bag

Love this bag because it is super light. It weighs under 2 lbs in compression sack. The overall size measures 6"x12" when compressed. I bought the 800 fill bag - seems like the best value because it is lighter and smaller than 650 down and does not have the monster pricetag of the 850 down. The temp rating on this bag seems right on. Would want a bit more bag if temps dropped into the 20's OR you if you use the Arroyo, you will want a bag liner and/or wear an extra layer. The bag is well made and durable. Marmot makes great stuff. I am 6'2", 240 lbs and fit easily in the long size. I do not feel cramped. Feature request: I wish there was a draft collar.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value, lightweight
