Excellent Water Bottle

These are some of the best water bottles I've owned. I take my bottle everywhere I go - work, gym, backpacking, etc. They're rugged, but I would not say they are lightweight. The slim design allows you to easily place your bottle in drink holders and pack pockets. I've noticed that some of the paint has chipped off the bottom of one of my bottles, but that's not a big deal.

I got the Klean Kanteen water bottle in pink and love it. I like that the mouth opening is big enough for adding ice cubes. Also makes it super easy to clean. Altrec also sells the Water bottle replacement caps and I plan to buy some.
Pros: Build quality, Ease of useNice Water Bottle, But it is not Insulated.

This is a very nice water bottle but does not keep your water very cold because it is not insulated. The bottle also sweat when it is warm out. The good things are it is BPH free and has a large opening and a leak proof top.

We love our water bottles in various sizes, but make sure your kids don't put them in the dishwasher as the color chips off easily. Also, my son whammed the bottle against the door walking in and we now see they dent easily. But still, a great product.

I use this 'slender' bottle since it fits nicely in my golf bag's pouch. I have been using it for a couple of years now and it is still performing like new. It is so easy to clean; to dry it I usually tip it upside down until the next use. Worth every penny!

This is a great product. Well worth the price. I had a cheap drug store metal bottle before this, but broke the cap and I was stuck with a useless bottle. Klean Kanteen allows you to buy replacement and extra parts, like caps so I shouldn't have that problem ever again. The one downside is no insulation.

You can't go wrong with this Klean Kanteen bottle. I'm planning on picking up another in a smaller size. The mouth is easy to drink from and it's easy to wash.

This is my first stainless steel bottle (though all my friends jumped on the bandwagon long ago) and it's absolutely wonderful. Sturdy, clean, stylish - what's not to love. I have the blue and the moss green color - both are holding up great with no chips or scratches yet. I take it to work, home, soccer, outings... This version is relatively low-maintenance as we put our in the dishwasher (cap and bottle). The mouth opening is comfortable and large enough for ice (though you have to put it in one-by-one by hand).

This bottle has held up very well for over a year of use. I am drinking water out of it right now! No leaks and no funny plastic taste to my water. I bought a bargain brand at target that just wore out so fast I could not believe it. The paint chipped, it dented and leaked. So much for a bargain! This bottle never chipped, dented, or leaked. Nice quality and good price.

This is my first Klean Kanteen (switched from the other guys) and I'm really happy I switched. I use this product daily, and am happy with the durability and look. And of course, it's great knowing 100% that your bottle is BPA-free.

I bought 3 of the 27oz Kanteen Stainless Steel Water Bottles and we do like them. They have a great seal and do not leak and the best thing that we like is they are BPH free. Now for the not so good, Bottles are made of very thin material, my daughter dropped hers and is dented it very bad from just a few feet and now the bottle will not stand on its own! Another down fall is that it is not insulated very well it will not keep things cold on a warm day for very long. This bottle is average and need to be more heavy duty if you want me to pay 20$ for a water bottle

This is a great product hands down. I have probably dropped this thing more times than I have fingers and it has held fast. If you have a bike check out the bottle holder.

I like these because they are cool looking and ice cubes fit into the top. The only thing is that they sweat when they have ice water in them so you need to also have a towel handy or wherever you put it gets wet. I own several. When it's hot, the wetness doesn't bother me much anyway :)

Slightly smaller than Sigg but seems more durable, doesn't dent, and not having to force ice cubes down a narrow opening is a big plus!

I haven't had a chance to use it on the trail yet, but use it for water every day at work so far. It's fairly light so I expect it will be a nice addition to my bags bladder on the trail to use for mixing gatorade or Propel. It's pretty easy to clean and I love the screw lid and size of the opening for ease of drinking. Once empty, I just clip it to a carabiner on the outside of my cooler bag. I'd like to get another one in a different size now.

I bought both sigg and klean kanteen water bottles for my kids. Hands down, the winner is klean kanteen. Although the sigg bottles are prettier, klean kanteen bottles are more durable (all the siggs have dents in them) and because of the wider mouth, you can clean them with a baby bottle brush and you can put ice in them (which is a huge plus; who doesn't want cold water?!). We have had no problem with leaks with either brand.

Have used both the 40 ounce and 28 ounces for 4 months now. They are great. No problems with the threads like the other person said. Perhaps the the lids are not dishwasher safe perhaps that caused him the problem. I highly recommend. Wonderful to beable to had my essential oils of lemon and orange to my water since there is no plastic.

I have had this bottle for two months now, and the top has already stripped out. I don't know if it's the plastic threads on the cap or the metal threads on the bottle itself, but it will only tighten to a slight degree, and then it pops loose again. I have read several reviews on other sites by those with the exact same problem. I am now using my wife's Sigg bottle that is lighter, has more available accessories, a one liter capacity, and NO problems to date (over six months old). Out with the Klean Kanteen... I'm getting my own Sigg.
