Why purchase this pillow?

It's just a small down pillow, though well made. It has no body or support to it. You might as well use your down vest or jacket. For years, I used my Patagonia pullover, carefully rolled up, as a good pillow. It has support and is warm, like a thick pillow. I recently purchased (from Altrec# the Nemo Fillo. It is an amazing pillow that has a spot for putting a pullover #more thickness and body) and an inflatable part much like the Thermorest. Now that is a pillow for the back country! Don't waste your money on a mini-down pillow. If you have to have a down pillow, take the one you use at home.

Lightweight, packs very well, suited great for camping, trekking, or any type of travel to include airplane. Seems as though it will hold up well, will have to see if laundering impacts the loft .

It's great quality but a little thin for my liking. You can easily stuff a jacket in the sleeve for extra fluff but I did get hot spots during the night. The fill is a bit thin in my opinion. I will probably go with an air/foam combo pillow. Very packable and nice stuff sack. If you're looking for a solid camp pillow and don't need something thick for side sleeping this one will do the trick.

shipped color was a weird sort of dayglo orange. pillow is comfortable enough, fits in the hood of my bag and compresses to a decent size.
