I own several pairs of Keen shoes (clogs, sandals, snow boots). I wanted to love these sandals but they were way too narrow. Why did Keen have to go and change a good thing? People are used to the Keen brand fitting a certain way and they had to go throw us through a loop. I returned them....

This is the third pair of these sandals I have purchased over the past couple of years. They fit perfectly and can really be taken through the wringer. I keep my old pair around for dirty work and have a new pair I wear almost every day. Altrec was good about exchanging the first pair I bought for a better size with no hassle. I wear a 6.5 - 7, depending on the shoe. In this sandal I needed a 7.

Love the look, feel and comfort factor. I usually have to break new shoes in gradually but not the case with the Whisper Slide. I never want to take them off. The adjustable strap keeps the shoe securely fastened to my feet with no slipping or sliding that is quite common with most slide in shoes. I upsized a half and the fit is perfect. I highly recommend this shoe. Will definately purchase another pair.

Initially ordered the brindle/orchid color and found it to be more taupe with hints of olive rather than khaki (ish) as it appeared online. I replaced it with the coffee/liquor color which also seems a little 'off' from the color online, but preferable. I am a small size 8, can often wear 7.5 and ordered 8.5 upon the advice of prior reviews. This was great advice - order .5 - 1 full size up as these run small. Width is semi-adjustable. They are super comfy, but I have yet to test them a full day. Wish they would make colors: Navy & true Khaki instead of such wild colors - that don't match anything.

Order a 1/2 size bigger than your normal shoe size. Shoe is very comfortable and Keens are a great investment. Keens also are great for my daughter who is learning to walk.

Shoes wear wonderfully, are very comfortable, wash up easily, and just don't seem to wear out. Shoes were delivered in a timely fashion and the sale price was great.

I love Keen shoes and this one is one of the best designs yet. The only real negative I can find is I have a tall instep and it pinches a little across the top of my foot, but I feel this will lessen with wear.

Altrec offered the best price for the Keen whisper slides I wanted! Shopping was a breeze and they came right when I expected them too! What a deal. Keen has become my go-to brand. Most comfortable shoes I own now. Sure simplifies my shopping life.

I bought these whisper slides just to kick around the house with, but they are so comfy and sturdy I take long walks in them! They are the usual Keen shoe- sturdy and sporty. The slip on design is easy on and off your foot, but fits well enough that the shoes stay put on your feet. They are similar construction and materials to the Newport H2, so they are a great water sandal as well! I have yet to be dissapointed by any Keen I have worn- I have now owned eight pairs of Keens and counting.

This is a great slide. Tends to run a bit narrow and definately small. I have other Keen sandals and still had to order a half size up to make it fit. But these are definately comfortable!!! I love Keen sandals

I have tried numerous brands of shoes for walking comfort. Nothing compares to the Keen shoes in general. I have previously bought other Keen sling shoes and find them to be very comfortable, but sometimes time consuming when trying to get the sling on in a hurry. They fit fine once they are on. HOWEVER, with the slide you get the same comfort, but a much faster on and off. They are also a bit dressier than the sling model, due to the fact that the toe shape is a bit more streamlined. I usually take a size 7.5 shoe, but found that the Keen's run a bit short. A size 8 fits fine.

I love these sandals! This is the 2nd pair I have purchased this summer. I took them out of the box and wore them immediately- no break in required! They provide comfort AND support. I have foot problems and with these sandals I can walk all day without any discomfort. They are the prefect sandal for traveling. Great footwear!

Straps are Weird

I was trilled to try a slide-on Keen for quick trips to the mail box, get the newspaper, etc., but I was disapointed in the style of the Whisper. The way the straps come across the front of your toes causes your baby toe to get squeezed out. So basically one toe is sticking out of the side of the sandal. Weird. Maybe its just the shape of my long toes? I had to return them. I'm sticking with the Newports.

I ordered the Keen Whisper Slides in the coffee liqueur color. The color is a little darker than shown, with the center tongue area being darker than the side straps. While they are darker than I wanted, they are still quite attractive. Also, they do run short in length, and I needed to order a half size up from my normal size. They are extremely comfortable, no break in time required. They dry quickly and are still comfortable after getting wet. Overall, an excellent sandal.

I've been a fan of Keens for quite awhile and really love my newest purchase, the Whisper Slide sandal. Very cute sandals, lightweight, & comfortable. Because this sandal does fit snug at the front of the foot, you may want half size larger because there is no strap at the heel to keep your foot from sliding back a bit. I usually wear a size 6 1/2 but I think a 7 might be better. I'm taking these along on an extended trip that will include much walking but they are cute enough to wear with dresses as well. Because they don't have a heel strap I wouldn't recommend them for any serious hiking but this makes them a breeze to slip on and off when going through airport security.

These are the greatest sandals ever. They are not only comfortable and come in great colors, they're perfect for hot, humid conditions. After a pouring rain in which it was too hot to wear closed shoes, these dried off instantly and cleaned off just as easily. The width is also a bit adjustable so they'll fit comfortably without flying off since they're slides. I will definitely buy another pair of these. Note: the other reviewers are correct. These tend to run a half size small. Thanks!

I usually wear a size 7-7.5 so I ordered the 7.5 after trying on a friends size 8 which were a little too large. The pair of sandals that I received were just the size of my foot and I was afraid that my heel would slip off the bottom while walking. So I returned that pair and I am buying the next size up. All my friends swear by their keens and recommend them to anyone. I can't wait to get my new pair.

I got these for my pregnant daughter-in-law. She loves them as she can adjust the width depending upon any foot swelling. While very light, they provide good arch support.

Very comfy and you can get them wet, they dry very quickly. Also, they run true to size, so get your normal shoe size. Quality shoe, I highly recommend.

Very nice sandals , very comfortable . Do need to buy a half size larger to wear as other customers have suggested. Went to florida last year and everyone was wearing them . I am going to seattle this year and needed something that would not hurt my feet , they feel great now.

These are my second pair of Keen whisper sandals and I have been so happy with them. My first pair have the back-strap and are still going strong. I got them for wearing on trails with water crossings. I got these whisper slide sandals so I'd have another comfortable pair of sandals to wear in Europe. Highly recommend. They feel like a tennis shoe but they're a sandal!

I bought these keens for my first trip to India. They are super comfortable and needed very little breaking in. I was a little worried about wearing flip flops, but the Keens have a very secure fit. I have been wearing them on my 3-mile a day walks and have not had any problems at all. I usually go for cheaper shoes, but my keens were def worth every penny.

These fit well out of the box and are very practical as well as nice looking for casual wear. Pros: anatomically proportioned for foot health; provides toe protection around the barn; wet weather no problem; slip into them and go. Since these are new, I can't vouch for their wear and rated 'durability' on past experience with my Keen Newports that have worn well for kayaking, hiking and general 'living' for over 3 years now.

Comfy and cute. Not great for any hardcore outdoor activity, but perfect for a quick slip on. Far less bulky than other Keens, which is what I was looking for. I got the gray/berry, which is an attractive neutral combination. The shoe fit and was comfortable right out of the box. The sole is a little stiff and less cushioned than would be perfect in my opinion, but otherwise a great everyday, casual sandal with light outdoor and/or travel capabilities that I'll wear often.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. The heel is well padded for exceptional comfort, easy slip on. I wear them all the time because of the comfort. n, The inside can get smelly if your feet sweat or you wear them daily, however, a quick trip through the washing machine fixes that right away....they look like new and smell fresh once again. These are the third pair I am ordering...I JUST LOVE THESE SANDALS!

This shoe has a great fit, very comfortable, can wear all day and still feel good. It's great to be able to throw them in the washing machine when thay get dirty.

This was the first pair of Keens that I bought, and I was very excited to try them out. Unfortunately, they just didn't fit. Contrary to what others have said, I thought that these sandals really slipped a lot. They would not stay on my feet. I wear an 8.5, but I couldn't tell whether these shoes were too big or too small. Maybe the fit was right, but the slides just aren't for me. It's a shame because they were really cute.

easy slides for the 'need to go' quickly sandal. A true Keen that is waterproof & comfortable for around town, traveling, & light hiking. I returned them only due to my left little toe rubbed the outside strap--of course, my left foot is shaped slightly 'weird'.

This is my first pair of Keens. They are comfortable. The slide adjustment is nice to give the shoes a better fit. I bought my usual 8 and wish the shoe was a bit longer, but going up a half size would make it too big. I have a narrow foot and these are not too wide. I bought the green ones and I love the color. Overall, a nice shoe

These were really cool and comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis so didn't quite work for me as I couldn't keep them on. But, that said, these are terrific and "smart" shoes.

These are the best summer shoes I've found! I can't stand flip-flops, and these are a great alternative. They are comfortable, adjustable, and I am able to wear them all day without my feet hurting. I would recommend them to anyone. I now have three pair all in different colors, just because I like them so much.
