Great Arch Support
April 07, 2012

These have Plenty of toe room. They seem to run about a 1/2 size small. I use these for my everyday walking shoe. They are a little inconsistent with overall fit from one season to another. I love the shoe, I have three pair! Highly recommended.

I love KEENs
April 01, 2012

These shoes are wonderful. They were loose in the heel at first, but adjusted with wear. I love the way my feet feel when I am wearing them, very comfortable. When I buy KEEN's, I buy a size that is 1/2 size larger than I normally wear.

Good but could be better
January 03, 2012

The shoe is true to size but a little wide in the heel. I had to put a liner in to make it stable and that wasn't perfect. The toe bed is roomy and comfortable. I have other Keen shoes. Compared to them the Voyageur's heel seems high. The shoe is a bit stiff but I suspect it will get more flexible after several uses like the other keen shoes I've experienced.

Pros: roomy toe, nice looking
Cons: heel is wide

Really Comfortable
October 12, 2011

I went on a monthly camping and hiking trip in August. Though not the first time for me to hike, it was the first time for me to hike 30 days in a row! These hiking shoes never made my feet hurt once, and we are talking about half dome in Yosemite! I had to get used to the wide shape of the shoes at first, but overall, I have no complains. They definitely stood the test!

Pros: comfortable not need to break in
Cons: a bit wide (for my feet)

a second pair

The voyager is an excellent light hiking shoe. We walked across the highlands of Scotland and had no problem. We recommend the shoe and the West Highland way hike of 95 miles.

Pros: light and comfortable

Awesome shoes!
June 09, 2011

I love my Keens! This is my third pair of Voyageurs. I can wear these for just about anything-from hiking to casual and everything in between. These tend to run a little bigger than most Keens so I order a half size smaller and they are perfect!

Pros: comfort, durability, stylish

Love Love Love
May 13, 2011

I'm new to hiking so didn't have a clue what to look for in a hiking shoe but I knew I wanted something lightweight and comfortable. After reviewing all the previous reviews on this shoe as well as a ton of other shoes I decided to order Voyageur shoes and I'm so happy I did. Just as other reviewers have said, there's no break in needed with these shoes. The first day I received them I wore them for 5 hours without any problems. They are so comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size up from my normal size and they fit perfect. Love the wide toe box since I have wide feet. I love the look of the shoe too and the quality is excellent. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and it was a breeze ordering through Altrec. The order was processed quickly and I received them within a couple of days of the order. Thank you Altrec!!

Pros: excellent quality, stylish, comfortable

comfy
April 23, 2011

These hikers are mega comfy. I wear a 71/2 and they fit true to size. They are not waterproof, but dry very quickly. They did not require break in time. I wore them right on the trail out of the box. I've received many compliments on them. Very cute.

Great shoes!
March 28, 2011

I love Keens and recently ordered these shoes to take to Asia. I need good arch support for my old feet ( well, middle aged feet) and didn't want anything too heavy to wear or to pack. I love these shoes. They felt great right away and don't rub against my heel like many new shoes do. I also like the color although it is more grey than black.

Pros: light weight, comfortable

best hiking shoes I've worn
March 23, 2011

These shoes were comfortable from the first wearing, no breaking in necessary. There's plenty of toe room and my foot didn't slide forward due to the arch support and lacing. True to size with room for heavy socks without feeling snug. These are my new favorite shoes!

Great all around sports shoe
March 21, 2011

This is a great shoe for almost anything. For me, I love the shock absorption. Wears well and so comfortable. Only thing disappointed with was the color. It looked very different on line.

Pros: comfort
Cons: color not like picture

Very good purchase
March 20, 2011

First time purchasing Keen products. These shoes are very comfortable. I ordered the same size I wear in other brands of shoes. The reviews I read said to order 1/2 size bigger than normal but that would have been to big for me. I hike alot and these shoes are going to be great for that. I will purchase more Keen products.

Good shoe
March 15, 2011

I bought this shoe because I work outside on my feet. These shoes are very comfortable. I have another pair of Keens which have been great. I ordered the same size when I ordered this pair, but they run a bit larger than the last pair I have. Otherwise, they are perfect!

Great shoes-great fit!
March 10, 2011

I ordered these in a women's 10.5 because I always order my running shoes one half to one full size larger. The 10.5 was a little too long so I ordered a 10 (my regular shoe size) and those fit fine. I even tried these out for a 20 minute walk on my treadmill and then a 10 minute jog. Next, I put booties over the shoes (just incase I had to return them) and walked down a very steep 1/4 mile driveway and back up again (the ultimate test!) These feel great in the arch and nice and roomy in the toe-box without allowing your foot to slip around. These will be fine for day hikes on trails and general schlepping around town on my travels abroad. LOVE these shoes.

Pros: well made great fit, great price, true to size
Cons: i have only two feet

My second pair!
March 02, 2011

I'd had my first pair of Keens for three years when our neighbor dog took one away. Wah!!! I hike in a mountainous area almost daily, so I need tough shoes. These Keens were my favorite, most comfortable hiking shoes! I immediately went online to order another pair.

Great Shoe
December 14, 2010

This is my third pair of Keen Voyagers. I work in retail and am on my feet 10-12 hours a day 5-6 days a week. I have not found a shoe that stands up to the wear and tear of concrete like the Voyager. Most shoes I am lucky to get 3-6 months wear out of, my last two pairs lasted almost 11 months. The shoe is very comfortable and has nice arch support, I have flat feet so this is very important to me. It seems to run a bit large but not enought to more down in size. I wear a 7.5 and that is what I ordered. The shoe also had good ventilation but is not waterproof, which is probably why it has good ventilation.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Comfort: 5 / 5
Durability: 5 / 5

Great Summer/Dessert Shoe
November 27, 2010

The Voyageur has a fit just like Keen's Targhee II - wide & comfortable toe box. This shoe is not waterproof BUT it is more breathable than the Targhee II. Great for hiking in the southwest where it is often hot and dry. The aggressive sole on is one of the best features. This shoe (and the Targhee II) has the absolute best traction for hiking and climbing all over rocks in Bryce, Zion, Arches etc. (My husband and I joke that they are made with "really sticky" rubber) It has excellent side to side stability making climbing on unstable terrain much easier. I've worn these shoes on all day hikes with no blisters or soreness at all. Buy the Voyageur for summer and/or hot dry climates and the Targhee II for wet or snowy areas. Although I have worn the Targhee II all day in the stinking hot dessert and it is fine too. ** odd thing - for the Targhee II I have to order 1/2 size larger. For the Voyageur I ordered my true size. LOVE BOTH of these shoes. Buy a pair of each!

Pros: comfortable and durable
Comfort: 5 / 5
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5
WaterProtection: 3 / 5

Awesome Shoe, Buying Second Pair!
November 23, 2010

I bought these shoes several years ago and have been able to utilize them every season. They're very comfortable, highly breathable and extremely durable. I haven't been able to find another pair that I like as well these. I hike in them in the summer/fall and wear them to the mountain throughout the winter. Truly a great product- love Keens!

October 30, 2010

This is a comfortable hiking shoe but does not keep out any wetness from the grass. Good news though, they dry fast. They do run a bit wider compared to other brands.

October 15, 2010

This is the 2nd pair of Keen hiking shoes that I own. I wore the 1st pair everyday hiking up and down a steep canyon trail twice a day for almost 3 years. They served me very well so I got the 2nd pair. It looks like the great performance will repeat itself.

Overall Fantastic Shoe
August 10, 2010

I have super wide feet and these Keen Voyagers are the only shoe that I can wear for long periods of time. I use them for hiking, small walks, beach walks and for general purposes. They have been worn daily since taking them out of the box, with absolutely no break-in period needed. My first pair (Voyager mid-top) is still a bit tight even though I ordered a 9.5 (l/2 size larger)....the new low top Keen Voyager is a much looser fit (size 9.5) and is extremely comfortable. I am an absolute fan of these shoes, and cannot say enough good about them! Thank you.

Keen Voyager Low Top Hiker
August 10, 2010

Fantastic shoe, no break-in period needed. I have very wide feet (bunion included) and these are the only shoes that fit! My last pair was a size 9.5 mid-top.....they are a bit tighter fit than these. The new low tops are wider (also size 9.5) and a better fit all around. I am an avid hiker and they have been used every day, right out of the box with no issues whatsoever. I guess I am a huge fan and really believe in the quality of these shoes! The KEEN VOYAGER is a great shoe......

Great shoe.
August 09, 2010

A great shoe. I really like it because of the wide toe. I found it to be true to size. Great for walking. Very Comfortable.

Nice wide toe box, good arch support.
August 03, 2010

I have been wearing casual hiking shoes that hurt when I went down hill, and these shoes are great in that they don't mash my toes. The insole is very cushioney and there was no breaking in period. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great Shoe!
July 30, 2010

I purchased a half size larger than I usually wear (as suggested by others) and the shoes fit perfectly. Moreover, there was no break-in period and thus no blisters the first time I wore the shoes on a long, hilly walk. The Keen Voyageur Rocks!

Good product
July 29, 2010

Altrec ships fast and the shoes are at a great price, really like the look and feel. Have yet to wear them for a hike but I'm sure they'll be great!

Great support
July 22, 2010

I have chronic pain in my feet and KEENs are the only brand I buy now. The extra room in the toe box allows my toes to spread out for extra balance, and the stiff soles add extra protection from rocks and feel really stable no matter where I am. I wear them to work, to the gym, walking the dog, and on hikes. All around great shoe!

Finally a great fit and look!
June 18, 2010

As true with all Keens, a great fit and look. I have been wearing Keen Targhees as my main shoe, but now this is the first pair of shoes that I reach for each day. I am very pleased with my new purchase.

Wonderful shoes for the trail and road.Happy with my purchase.
May 31, 2010

I have been looking for comfortable light waterproof shoes. I walk/hike in all kinds of weather and I have not been disappointed. People have NEVER commented me on my shoes and I am often asked where I got them and who manufactured them. They provide good support and the round toe box helps coming down steep inclines.Great traction on wet surfaces and I am in love with my new buddy. I wear a 9M and a 9 fits fine with ample room in the toe box.

They just look cool!
May 21, 2010

I took forever to decide on a new pair of hiking boots for our 2 week trip out West. I choose the Keen Voyageurs. I love them! They feel good on my arch and they also feel very sturdy, I don't feel like they are going to fall apart or wear down. Very happy with my purchase!

Awesome fit and comfort!
May 11, 2010

Been wearing these shoes for 3 days straight around the house, shopping, gardening. No rubbing, blisters, just pure comfort. Gonna buy some for my man! If you need width, these are the shoes for you.

I am the Keen Queen and these are just new jewels in my crown.
May 09, 2010

Would love to wear these everywhere but they don't go with my dressier clothes. I smile all the while I wear them 'cause my feet are happy. Great fit, great support and they don't look bad either. So-o-o glad I got 'em.

These are great!!
May 06, 2010

I've had the Keen Voyageur Mid Hiking Shoe for a couple of years & they've been comfortable since the day I put them on my feet & still look great after considerable wear. However, in the desert in the summer, they started to feel heavy & my feet need air, so I got these as my summer pair & they're also extremely comfortable & look great - I love the color! I'm a huge Keen fan!!!!
