March 05, 2012
Great boot,I wear a size 9 1/2 but purched a size 10 to allow room for heavier socks. they fit great and feel good.they keep my feet warm all day long and still feel good by the end of the day.I wear them for work.I am outside in all kinds of weather they keep me warm and dry.I usually purchase merrell products. I am glad that I gave keen a shot. You can't go wrong GREAT BOOTS.
Queen Visits Empire
March 03, 2012
I am the Keen Queen. I recently hiked in the Hudson Valley on a cousins weekend. The hints of Spring in the Northeast brought mud and water. But I was comfy and dry in my PCTs! They fit well with my heavy socks and offer the famous KEEN toe guard which is a blessing in the mountains or on city streets. These boots run true to size. I am 5' 8" and weigh 128. I live in my many KEENS.
Pros: fitLove My Keens
January 30, 2012
I actually found these keens in a dept store in my area but they didn't have my size 11 women's but Altrec did. I love these hiking boots because they are so cute for my big feet and feel great. Keens fit my feet like a glove even without my orthotics because of how the foot bed is designed. So I am excited to wear them for hiking but took them out for a test on the snow and ice and they worked great. I highly recommend these boots.
Pros: stylish, great construction, fit right out of the boxLight, tought comfy
January 15, 2012
These are great boots. I have worn them now for almost 38 miles of hiking on rocky trails and over snow/ice. Extremely comfortable in all conditions. Feet stayed dry and warm and didn't slide around in the boot. Sole stuck to rocks and ice really well. I'm 5'7" and 155lbs and wear an 8 in Keen snowboots and these fit just like the snowboots. I'm planning to use these for long backpacking trips and don't expect to have any problems. No rub spots yet and they just get better with wear.
Pros: light weight, waterproof, good fitmost comfortable hiking boot ever
December 09, 2011
By far the most comfortable hiking boot I have ever had. No break-in period at all. Did a 13,100 peak, 16 miles, the second week I had them, and very supportive. I love the Keen toebox. Had tried a similar Keen style with a lower ankle profile, which hit me wrong, but these are perfect.
Pros: comfort, support, no break in, well madeLove my Boots

I shopped around for nearly six months to find the right hiking boots for me, and it is the Keen Oregon PCT boot. I tried them on for size in a local store but they were way too much money for my budget. When I found them on Altrec for such a decent price, I ordered them, received them in 3 days, and went for a half day hike and could only say "OMG, these are the best boots ever." They are comfy, solid, and gave me confidence climbing hills and rugged terrain. I'm a 58 year old female who is extremely happy with her Keen Oregon PCT boots.
using for motorcycle boots
April 18, 2011
I searched for a flexible, yet protective and lightweight boot. The regular winter harley brand I have are just too heavy for summer/warm weather wear. These are tall enough to offer some ankle protection and heavy enough to offer foot protection, yet flexible that I don't walk like a clumping 'bigfoot' even tho I wear women's size 10. I love love love the big toe box because after hours of riding my toes tend to go numb and this pair allows for wiggle room. I tried a motorcycle brand "street sneaker" and the toe was too narrow. After paying shipping both ways for the other brand, I decided to go up a half size and I'm glad I did for the room. If I was going to use them for hiking, I would have ordered my usual 10. I wear both 'dry lock' and sometimes a thick 'wicking' sock and an orthodic for plantar f. and i still have enough room. The boots also have a bit of reflective trim and anything that gets a biker noticed by another driver to avoid an accident is a good thing. This is my third pair of keen and I may just be a life customer!! I have the whisper and the owahee sandals. They took me all over my first trip ever to disneyworld in March with great comfort. I'm looking forward to riding with these on the Dragon's tail in June.
Pros: big toe box, flexible, protectiveMy wife was very pleased
March 09, 2011
Bought these for my wife after she wore out her last hiking boots. She has worn them a few times on short walks and can't wait to give them a real test in the woods. Comfortable and well made.
Pros: qualityquality you'd expect from Keen
January 26, 2011
These hiking boots are the quality you would expect from Keen. They provide excellent ankle support for hiking over rocky terrain. I wear a 9 1/2, so I ordered a 10, thinking about how your feet tend to swell with hiking (and also if you wear thicker socks). Also, I have found with Keen footwear, I am better off ordering a half size larger. These boots look great too, they are just what I was looking for in both appearance and durability.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueLove Keen boots
January 24, 2011
I have worn Keen hiking boots for several years. They are comfortable, light and fit me perfectly. The only downside is that I usually have to buy a new pair every year. I liked this Oregon PCT because it is cut a little higher and is stiffer and appears sturdier than the last model I bought. Hopefully it will last longer than the lighter boots I have purchased before. I will have to wear these for awhile before I can rate the durability. Remember to buy a whole size larger than usual.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, light & comfortableGreat All Around Boot
November 11, 2010
These boots were very comfortable right out of the box. I wear a size 10 and they were true to size. They are perfect for day hiking. Usually when backpacking I prefer a bit stiffer ankle support and thicker sole, however these will still work despite being a bit thinner and more supple. They are comfortable enough that I don't mind keeping my boots on at camp. I've worn them in summer/fall so far, but they are looking a bit thin for winter weather coming up. I would recommend these to anyone as a good all around, middle of the road boot in terms of weight/flexibility.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of usesolid hiker

I didn't have much time to break these boots in before I went on a two day hike. My feet never got sore or uncomfortable. I highly recommend these boots.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Great valueAlmost there!
May 24, 2010
The toe-box fits fine for me, they are very comfortable for the most part. I thought I bought the right size but on my last hiking trip my toes were hurting from hitting the front due to movement back and forth. Smaller size was too small!! I do not like the laces either.
ORDER BIGGER!
February 24, 2010
When other reviewers have noted the importance of ordering 1/2 to 1 size up--they were not kidding! I ordered 1/2 size up from my street shoe size and the Keens were just too small! They were also surprisingly tight in the toe box. On the good side, they had great ankle support and a comfortable ride. Although they were way too tight with my usual green arch support, I know that with a larger size the arch supports will be OK. I will return these and order the same shoe larger and in a men's version to ensure a wide-enough toe box. I should note that I do not have a wide foot, but I do have a highish arch.
Great but not the BEST
May 23, 2009
As a long-time fan of Keen footwear, I was pretty certain I would be happy with this boot. It had a very short break-in period, rugged sole, kept my feet warm and dry during muddy and wet hiking, and had a roomy and comfortable toe box. They were also very sturdy in the ankles, providing good support on rough terrain. I couldn't give them a five star rating, however, because they will never match the comfort level of my favorite Keen hikers (a discontinued style) from several years back.
Perfect!
May 01, 2009
I work in a green house and use these shoes for work along with the Keen Newport H2's for hotter days. The Oregon PCT boots offer great ankle and arch support and keep my feet dry all day while I'm watering hundreds of plants. I have not hiked long distances in these boots which is what they are designed for but they would be my first choice for hiking, especially carrying a heavy pack, the ankle support is superb. They are a little expensive but in my opinion are well worth the expense they are like all terrain tires for you feet. Buy these boots! I normally wear an 8.5-9 but got these and the Newport H2's in 9.5 great fit an comfort. My only complaint about Keen so far is that they are not made in the USA. I would even pay more for these boots if they were.
Decent Boot - Not my Fit
April 10, 2009
Two sizes of this boot were purchased. I was looking for a toe-box fit similar to that of Keen Presidio. Toe-box fit was slightly more narrow than that of Presidio. During long hikes, feet will swell, and extra toe-box space is needed. Boots were returned.
