I've already done some hiking in these shoes and they were comfortable right out of the box. They provide great stability and traction in muddy terrain and clean up easily. They're lightweight and have a wide toe-box, which my feet need to be comfortable even on short hikes. Excellent shoe!

The Siskiyou shoe is the ideal lighter weight, breathable hiking shoe, for daily use in FL. I walk hard and find this shoe both durable and comfortable.

People need to know about the problems with this shoe before buying it. I'm a long time Keen buyer and huge fan of the Targhee line, wearing them exclusively for over the past 5 years. This time around I thought I'd mix it up a little for a more "around town" and at work shoe. I couldn't have been more disappointed in the extremely uncomfortable fit #the main reason I buy Keen is for the great comfort#. Also, the material quality seems to have really dropped in the couple of years. When I laced these up, the shoe makes an irritating “plasticy” rubbing noise and feel, reminiscent of nails on a chalk board. Buy something else!

Good quality shoes. Keens are the best. I would recommend to a friend. Very comfortable and don"t hurt your feet. These are very good shoes for any activity.

Fits like my old Keens

These shoes fit like my beloved old Keens - nice big toe box. I wear an 8 1/2 mens in a hiking shoe and need the wide platform for my forefoot - with the not so wide heel. I ordered two other styles (Zion and Alamosa) at the same time, and they aren't nearly as big in the toe box. They are much more narrow and will be returned. So glad to find that the fit I prefer is still available in these shoes.

Have only had them for 3weeks, but so far, about 40 miles in, they work as you would expect a pair of keens to. Sizing is normal. Having worn the H2 sandals for the past 3 years, i was not disappointed.

I bought these shoes for my son who was going on a hiking trip up Mt. Katahdan. I was worried he would blister as he had not worn them long before the 10 hour hike. He found them comfortable and supportive...and no blisters!!! We found them true to size and the excellent Keen quality we have come to expect.

I own another pair of Keen's and like the style and comfort. Bought these for around town they fit nice but are not as comfortable and the keen targhee's.

This shoe is very comfy. This shoe is a replacement of a different name brand hiking shoe and I made a good choice. The shoe is light and has an aggressive sole.

These are my second pair of Keen shoes. My first pair are the Newport sandals which I love. I wanted to try another pair of Keen's to see if they gave me the same comfort and fit as my Newports. I bought the Siskiyou's shoes based on recommendations here & on other sites. The recommendations & Keen did not disappoint. The shoes are very comfortable and support my feet well. I have 8.5 EEE feet and the 8.5 Siskiyou's fit perfect. The wide toe box gives ample room. The break-in period was 2-3 days. I've only had them for about 3 weeks and so far no issues. I said "average" durability because I want to see how they stand up over the long-term. I'll definitely keep buying Keens.

Great shoe! Especially great service from Altrec. Ships the same day I order. Al the Keen shoes are really good, but where I live my size is always out of stock. That's why Altrec makes such good sense and it 's supper easy.

Great quality, feel very sold. They're also pretty breathable. look nice enough for casual, but can handle the outdoors. Not as much arch support as many of the models, but I guess you can just throw in some Superfeet.

Great deal on a Keen Shoe. Functional and comfortable. My boyfriend says the are super comfy. This is his first pair of Keens and he's hooked. The style of the shoe goes from a casual day shopping to a hike on the trail. Love Keens!

I have several pairs of Keene products and I love them all. This shoe is perfect for day hikes. I also use them while mountain biking. They are very comfortable.

The best of both worlds

This boot is the best of both worlds. It is waterproof, well built (with a good toe box), warm enough to wear in winter, but has enough ventilation to use in summer. They are comfortable right out of the box, and I've been pleased with other Keen products. True to size for me. The footbed is well above average in terms of support, and the construction seems better than most (especially Merrill's). I see no reason to dock any stars from a five star rating.

My third pair of Keen shoes and I will continue to purchase them until I stop breathing. You just can't wear them out so I just keep collecting more pairs for all different type of uses!

This is my 4th pair of Keens, 2 for work and 2 for outdoor adventure. I wore holes in my last pair of Voyagers, though it took 2 years, they were perfect for everything. I'm off to Utah in a month and the Syskiyous seem like a good choice. 1st day out of the box and they feel like they were made for my feet.
