good for windy day !
March 15, 2012

I bought this neck gaiter lately. The color on the website made it look more white than it is - it's more of cream color, also thicker than looks, but i still like it. I am 5'5" and 115 pound and it fits comfortable. I carry it in my golf bag for windy day.

Pros: Ease of use
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Pretty good...
February 11, 2012

Material has a good weight and is not too thin. It provides a decent barrier against wind, but does not always stay up and creeps down occasionally if not correctly positioned when first put on. Like most Ibex wool products I own, the quality of the material is great and the craftsmanship is superb.

Pros: Build quality
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 4 / 5

Better hairband than neckband
March 28, 2011

I want to love this neck gaiter. The wool is lovely and soft , no itch. BUT, getting it over my head is a project! Once on the neck it slumps down which kind of defeats the purpose o keeping the wind off one's neck. I do wear it at night around my cold house, but still have to put on a scarf to go out on a windy day. A good but horribly expensive hairband!

Pros: quality fabric
Cons: Bad design
Durability: 4 / 5
Quality: 4 / 5

This neck gaiter feels comfortable, warm and fits well. Have yet to put it to the test on the slopes, but expect it will be far superior to old fleece neck gaiter.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use
Durability: 4 / 5
Quality: 4 / 5

Attractive styling but...
January 12, 2011

in comparing it to the quality and fit of my Arc'teryx Rho Gaiter, I find the Ibex Neck Gaiter to be much more floppy and easily bunched down (of its own accord), therefore annoying to have to constantly pull up to keep my neck covered. Admittedly, the Rho is longer, so when it collapses on itself my neck remains covered- but I think that's something you should consider with this particular design and fabric (thickness like that of 2 layers of T-shirt). Looks good when you first put it on and stretch it up, but won't stay there to effectively perform the job. I'm now considering just wearing it pulled up on my head (open top beanie), and keeping the Rho on my neck. Wave if you see me on the street.

Pros: Build quality
Cons: Low performance
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

keep my neck warm even in the house during winter
January 01, 2011

I like to set the thermostat around 65-68 degrees during winter to keep the Wisconsin winter electric and gas bill lower. This new item keeps my neck warm when I am in the house. I also wear it when I go for a walk outside; it keeps the wind away from the neck area. And it doesn't smell! This is my first neck gaiter and I am pretty happy with it.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value, warm, no smell
