More calories and easier to eat that most other gels. Does not have that thick consistency of most even when cold. honey flavour not overbearing or too sweet.

I have tried others, but I like stingers the best. It has a pleasant taste and it did not upset my stomach. I Ran 19 miles without a problem, and will use honey stinger gold on my next marathon race. It gave me a quick boost, and I like that it has potassium and the B-complex. It is made with natural honey which I happen to like very much.

I used to use other commercial energy gels, but found that I would end a marathon with an upset stomach that got worse when I tried to eat. I started alternating honey stingers and gel every 5 miles, and now I use the honey stingers (ginsting) exclusively. During ultras when eating along the route is important, I find that stingers go well with pretzels, peanut butter crackers or sandwiches, and are even ok with gatorade!

I have tried others, but stingers are the best!!! Mild on stomach. They also give quick boost, and have potassium and the B-complex. Mots of all it is natural (honey) and none of that synthetic chemical stuff. The best of all the gel I have used
