Past pairs of HH Lifa have always lasted several years and it was time to get a new set. The Lifa fly pants I recently purchased do fit pretty well compared to past pairs I have owned and I hope to get several winters out of these new ones. Based on past expereience with Helly Hansen Lifa, I've found it to be the absolute best as a winter baselayer. Time will tell if the new stuff made in Asia is as durable as the old stuff which was previously made in USA or in Europe. The matching Lifa stripe crew shirt I received seemed to have mismatched body and arm lengths and did not fit like any other HH Lifa shirt I have worn. The size large arms were way too long and the body was too short to have the shirttail tucked in.

Wore these skiing a few times and found them super warm and comfortable. Originally ordered the Small which felt more like a toddler spider man suit (Ran a bit smaller than a normal small for me) So I purchased a Medium and have been really happy with them even though they're a bit big. My point: Greater size different between small and medium. Regardless these guys are gems and a worthwhile addition. Stop looking for a baselayer pant - you've just found it!

I have worn these long underwear for years and they are great. Warm, comfortable, great addition to cold weather apparel
