We tend only to use in the winter months as it's lined and warm. It does a decent job of catching people's attention, but the fit is just a bit odd. We have two dogs similar body types and within a few lbs of each other. It fits the one great, the other just barely. All in all, it's safer than nothing and looks to be best choice in this price range.
