I've had this backpack for 2 years and it still works like I bought it yesterday. The capacity is has and the durability of the fabric make it perfect for just about anything. I take it to school, I take it on the plane when I travel, I take it anywhere that I know I'll need to bring lots of stuff.

My 5th grade girls must carry @ 35-40lbs load, daily. If you're looking for a flimsy featherweight, choose another bag. Rugged material, This thing is built for LARGE, SUPER weight- loads, Yet so balanced that it "lightens" a very heavy load...kids are EXTREMELY happy!! They walk 1/2 mile to school, now WELL paded/supported. All at such a GREAT PRICE!!

This pack has exceeded my expectations. I have a laptop with a 17" screen and it fits perfectly in the pack, with room to spare for a binder and multiple textbooks. I wear it riding my motorbike to work, so far its stood up to 100+ km/h. No issues with any zippers, all the pockets are functional and well sized. Really, I would have paid double for this pack, its that bomber.

This is a great backpack for a teen that has to carry loads of books and papers to school. It has strong and comfortable padding along the straps and lots of room inside. We ordered the all-black pack and are very happy with it.

this is actually my 2nd dakine laptop backpack - it replaces my previous one whose zipper broke after 2+ years of everyday abuse. great look, very big, very light - i love this bag!

this backpack seems so HUGE to me, but I got it for my boyfriend whose old giant backpack was wearing out big time. His only complaint is that it doesnt have enough organizing space, although that is because the old pack had about 15 zippers on it. Otherwise, holds a large laptop easily and seems pretty strong. The black one is nice and sleek looking.

great bag for the price & a lot larger than i expected for a "small" bag. great for a day hike or traveling b/c it's not too large, but big enough to hold the essentials (water, food, jacket, etc...)

This is the third Dakine Campus backpack I have purchased through Altrec. These three have taken my son through Jr High and High School. Each one has lasted almost two years - that is about twice the life of other bags we have purchased! The bags are well organized with plenty of pockets, a laptop sleeve, comfortable straps, a place to keep his glasses safe up at the top, a thermal lined lunch pocket and they are amazingly sturdy. My son has to carry a LOT of HEAVY books and this backpack has been up to the challenge. In my opinion it is the ONLY choice for a school backpack.

This bag is excellent. The material is very durable and all seems are stitched very well. The zippers are also very tough and feel quite durable as well. On the inside of the bag is a rubbery liner that seems to be water proof. This feature is especially appealing to me because my notes and books were soaked all the way through twice while walking in the rain with a bag made by Columbia. The drink pocket on the front of the bag works excellent and so far I have been able to fit drinks ranging in size from an 8 oz red bull to a 24 oz Coke. The main pocket is spacious and should be able to fulfill most people's carrying needs. I absolutely recommend this bag to any student who is looking for a stylish way to safely and easily transport their laptop, books, notebooks, etc

My daughter saw this and grabbed it on its arrival. She uses it for school. Carries a number of heavy books and laptop in it. She loves it . We get a new backup for her every year, this is at least her 5th backpack for school. It is by far her favorite. About a third of way into school year and it is holding up better than any previously.

the product was resonably priced and shiped fast. i assumed it was gong to have the same type of material as my dakine prom backpack but its more denim like. which is ok. i can fit lots of stuff in it. like my laptop, school books and some cloths.almost to big for me because im 5'2" and only 100lbs. i definity prefer my prom backpack

I bought this bag cause there were no others that seemed to fit my computer, that I liked anyway. So far it's done it's job and then some. The cooler pocket is amazing and there's plenty of room for books and other things.

I am disappointed that the backpack was not exactly as pictured on the website, but it is still a great pack. The name "Dakine" was not embroidered across the top of the pack as I had thought it would be. But, it has lots of room and will last me a lifetime. Just what I need.

I purchased this pack for school. I was most concerned with laptop storage, convenience and comfort. I could not be more pleased with this pack. It also works great for light travel. I was surprised on the large size, but for an average size male... it works great (size:Large).

This bag fits comfortably and has plenty of room. My only complaint is that the backpack is awkwardly tall. After you fit your books in it there is still lots of room on top. I use this bag for college and my complaint is really only off personal preference. Also, one of the pockets has only one zipper so pens and pencils can slip out the side occasionally. Overall though, the bag works great.

Grab your back pack and go. Nice size, not to big. Big enough to keep most of your essentials in. Two outside pouches have easy access to get to things quickly, and the main big pouch has a divided to keep things organized. The two net pouches on the outside are great to hold bottles of water. The whole back pack is well made, and functional.

I was looking for something that I could carry everything in while I am at school all day long. I needed room for my laptop, my big college books and whatever else I needed to carry for the day. This bag fits it all! The only thing that didn't work for me is that there wasn't enough support for the shoulders when carrying a ton of weight. I am also a petite girl and that could make a difference. I sent this back and ordered something with a waist strap to help support the weight on my shoulders.

I got this backpack just for regular high school usage and I am very pleased with it. It has a LOT of space and has great protection for a laptop if you own one. It arrived extremely quick and even came with a cliff bar.hahah. great bag overall

This pack is light, durable and looks great. I love all the padded pockets and even the pocket where i can keep cold drinks and not get the rest of my stuff wet. Plenty of room to put tons of stuff in as well.
