I purchased the Columbia Women's Arcadia Rain Jacket for a backpacking trip to Ireland this summer and I am so glad I got it when I did. This jacket helped keep me dry during my cousin's graduation and is very water proof! It fits me, true-to-size, and there may be a little extra room for a sweater if it's chilly. Columbia makes form flattering apparel and this jacket would be a great asset to any girls outdoor wardrobe!

I bought this jacket trying to replace one of my wifes favorite jackets she had purchased in Germany. At the time I was not sure the quality would be the same or the durability. I was more than happy to see she loved it and it has lived up to its description. Great quality and Columbia has once again proven to be one of America's outdoor clothing leaders. Fits great and lightweight enough to pack around.

First of all, my experience with altrec has been perfect! My order came earlier than expected in perfect condition. Second, my jacket is wonderful. It fits true to size-- I'm five ft nothing and 110 lbs but I'm a little broad shouldered and got the small. Its awesome! I wear my jacket everywhere! Its definitely not a cold weather jacket but I bought specifically for protection from the elements. I'm taking a trip to Kenya for a month and I know this jacket is perfect! Packs light, made durable and great price!

Although I expected the package to get to me a little faster, the anxiety went away as soon as I got it and opened the package. I ordered the black jacket and the color isn't the faded black. It's the perfect dark but not too dark black. The fit is good. I now wear it almost everyday, rain or shine.

I love this rain coat it's very classy and stylish. I love it. It's warm nice price to the jacket. It's a great quality. I purchased three jackets from here, they are very nice and they last long. My jackets I enjoy because they are warm and have great quality. This website is wonderful I found everything I have been looking. I purchased the Eclipse blue, which is navy. I love the color, and the light blue accent is flattering. I think it runs a little small, so I sized up. Still room for a sweater or fleece underneath.

I love this jacket. I lost mine so ordered one to replace it. I ordered a medium but found it was too tight for me. So I returned the jacket and will order a large. Am anxious for it to arrive.

I absolutely love this jacket! I wear it inside and out, no regrets with this one! It is very comfortable. I usually wear a sweater under it for a little extra warmth, but it is very wind and water proof.

Good fit. Nice weight can layer under it without getting to hot. Not for winter- no lining- but can wear over fleece. Breathes better than other coats. Doesn't feel like I'm wearing plastic. Love it!

I wanted a nice black rain jacket but this one was just too long. I am 5'3'' and the small was very long on me, so much so that I returned it. Other than that, the material felt very nice and it had a very nice look to it. The hood was also nice. Would recommend for such a good price.

I find the feminine cut of this jacket very flattering and it's further accentuated in the styles that include color blocking (I chose the Elderberry/Rouge). I'm 5'4" about 116 lbs and the XS fits me very wel. The jacket comes down just past the widest part of my hips with the back being slightly longer, offering good coverage and protection from the elements. The jacket is very lightweight (great for packing) but also seems durable. It's just roomie enough to fit a decent weight fleece underneath if you needed. The drawstring pullies to cinch in the bottom hem and the hood include nice features to keep them in place and facilitate an even cinching distribution (you know, so you don't end up wrestling with your jacket trying to be sure most of the material doesn't end up cinched on one side creating a weird, unflattering bulge). I have to say, I haven't ventured out into the wilderness yet but this jacket is definitely stylish enough to everyday wears and I've tested it out on some serious rainy days in the city with great results.

I haven't weathered any tumultuous storms, but I've worn this jacket in rain and wind. It seems nice and durable. I like the fit. It's very comfortable and true to size.

Both of my daughters have this same jacket and they have been VERY pleased with it. I ordered one for myself and for some reason the sleeves were very tight. It fit everywhere else. I love the way it's made.

Awesome Jacket! I was looking for something that was both a rain jacket and comfortable to wear. I'm outside a lot so this fits all of my needs! And when it gets cold I can just put a fleeze underneath it and stay warm! It's a little bit bigger than I thought, but now that I know I can put a fleece under it I'm pleased!

I got this jacket for a fall trip to the San Fran area this fall but got to bust it out early when a tropical low came through town here in Florida. Sideways white-out style rain whipped against me as I made my way throughout the day getting in and out of my car several times and I stayed dry! or at least the upper half of me did..lol. The jacket breathed well and I didn't get too hot in the warm humid Florida air or cold when coming inside to the super cold ac temperatures found in Florida businesses either. The color of the jacket is nice, true to the picture-just a slightly muted red with a hint of henna. The fit was great with the sleeves hitting the perfect place but unbuttoning the coat takes two hands..buttons snap tight! I would recommend this jacket...

Light weight and great for hiking or walking around town. Bought it for hiking and outdoor activities, but grab the jacket every time I need a rain jacket. Although, I do have to admit, the lining of the Men's Arcadia Rain jacket is slightly nicer than the Women's...but that would not stop me from recommending this jacket to Women.

I purchased this jacket after getting rave reviews from my sister who recently purchased one for herself. It is a great lightweight rain jacket that can be worn any time of year, and is especially great for hot summers in the south. The jacket is very roomy, which is good for layering in the fall, and the hood is nice and large so it covers your whole head. I purchased the navy/white, and am very pleased with the product. The turquoise is very cute in person too!! Overall, it is a great addition to any sporty outfit!

I love this jacket. It's very comfy. I have worn it in the rain and it is waterproof. I love how all of the pockets have hidden zippers. The hood has an adjustable strap in the back. I love the bill on the hood. A little extra protection from the rain. The one thing I don't like is the way the button pulley on the hood doesn't stay hooked. I think I will change that out myself and put something in it that can be tied. I'm not dissappointed.

I believe I purchased the Medium in this size when I normally wear Small in shirts. It fit fine. I returned it because it was too thin for me. I expected something thicker, but it almost felt unlined. If you are looking for a rain poncho, this would be an alternative for style than the "plain old solid yellow plastic poncho". Also, the blue one is the exact color as depicted.

This is a great jacket and almost what I wanted. I don't care for the velcro closures and the burnt henna color looks as if it has already faded. Try another color if you don't like a rather dull-looking jacket. I'll be exchanging mine for a different color. I took others' advice and ordered an XL - which fit this size 14-16 build just fine.

Had tried this on in a store locally so I knew what I was purchasing. Love it so far. I am 5'10" and have a hard time finding long enough sleeve length and length in my torso. This works! The color is beautiful. I also like the adjustable velco wrists. Couldn't ask for more in my opinion. I'll definitely purchase from Altrec again.

This jacket is nice, but felt flimsy. My North Face jackets appear to be of a better quality material. I am not unhappy with this product, but I wish I had not bought two!

I just received my arcadia rain/wind jacket yesterday. I already had to use it today due to stormy weather. This jacket is perfect for what I was looking for. It's the perfect jacket for rain and wind and keeping me dry and warm. I also bought the Columbia fleece in matching color to have an extra layer for warmth on cooler rainy days. They go together great and are very comfortable. I love my new purchase!

I bought this to walk to and from class and it's really great. Its just big enough that I can fit a light fleece underneath when it's cold. The colors are pretty too. My only complaint is that I'm 5'9 so it is just a wee smidgen too short, but overall I would definitely recommend it. I use this for: Walking around campus

The jacket is very nice and comfortable. I am 5ft <100 pounds and purchased the xs which fitted me well! The only drawback is the red color does not match with the one in the website.

While I am happy with this jacket....the accurate fit, breathability and waterproofness, my one complaint would be that the colour sent was not the colour in the picture.....I was expecting the pretty turquoise two-tone and received a aqua-greenish solid colour in a fabric not as soft as one I had looked at in a store before placing my order. I would not have chosen the colour if shopping in person...however, it is a super jacket for our westcoast rains, the price was great and it will keep me warm and dry.

Great Columbia quality! Excited to receive, a little disappointed that the picture did not match the jacket. Oceanic in the pic. has a darker color under the arms and on the sides, but the whole jacket is one color. It is oceanic. I don't think I have fat arms but the sleeves between the shoulder and elbow were a bit snug. If I try to put a fleece jacket under it as I did with my other jacket it may not fit. It seems to be a smaller cut in the shoulders and top of the sleeves. The body was fine. I'm 5.5 about 150 and bought XL. Called customer service, lady was helpful and said she would have someone look in to the picture so it can be fixed.

Love the jacket but have not put it through any true rain tests yet. I bought it for travel to Ecuador at the end of the rainy season and I think it will do the job. However, I expect any hard downpours would result in wet legs since this is just jacket length. I was not sure if I would like the white color, as I thought it might look like a lab coat. But it looks great and I love the white. The outer material has kind of a soft texture unlike my mom's Northface so the Columbia does not crackle when you move - a bonus.

I love this jacket. This is a perfect jacket for late winter and early spring weather in NY. It is light and packable. Not a problem to carry in the backpack. I can wear it comfortably over a thick sweater or a fleece jacket and not feel bulky. This jacket is truly waterproof and also very wind resistant. It fits perfectly for the raining days The Arcadia rain jacket fits true to size. Great value! Good quality

I really like this jacket overall. I am 5'7" and 140lbs--the medium fits just right, with room for a fleece underneath. It's not too bulky, which I really like--I still feel like I'm wearing something cute, which is important to me. It keeps the water out and adds a great extra layer on cold, windy days. My only beef with it is that the hood is kind of weird. When I got it, it looked nice and big, but when I put the hood up, it barely covers my head! It seems like it should extend out over my face, but for some reason it stops short of that and doesn't feel like it will stay on very well. But I really like everything else about the jacket, so I only took away one star for the weird hood.

This jacket is all I could want in a rain jacket. The material is lightweight, yet it feels substantial and of high-quality, and the zippers are sturdy. There is a zip-up pocket on the inside of the jacket where I can carry some small essentials (phone, cash, ID) while out in wet weather when I don't want to carry an extra bag or purse. The hood has good coverage over the head and has a small brim to help keep rain off of the face, and it also has some vertical velcro on the back of it for adjustment of coverage. The neckline is very high when fully zipped, keeping rain from annoyingly dripping down your neck and onto your clothes underneath. Drawstrings on the hipline and velcro adjustments on the cuffs provide extra personalization of fit. I loved how many colors this jacket is made in.. My favorite color is red, and I got this jacket in the Burnt Henna color, which is a nice, muted red. This jacket is as pretty and durable as a rain jacket should be, which makes it feel nice to wear when the weather outside is not so nice.

This jacket is light which makes it easy to carry everywhere. A big plus in Seattle. It's right to the size. I'm 5'3 and weight about 128 pounds and ordered a small which was perfect. I can still use a sweat shirt underneath and not feel bulky. Great value! Good quality.

We've had many days of heavy rain the past few months in L.A. and I finally decided to get a rain jacket. Since I've had this jacket, I no longer have to dread getting soaked every time I take my dogs out ( 8 times/day in all). It's completely rainproof and also very wind resistant. I plan to take it with me on vacation to New Zealand in case of rain and it's great that it can be folded to take up very little room in a suitcase/backpack. The Arcadia rain jacket fits true to size (I'm 5'2" and got a Small) and the design (the stripe down each side) is also slimming. I'd prefer if it were a bit longer. The only other thing I don't like about the jacket is the hood doesn't stay on my head when it's windy. Overall though, it's a great lightweight rain jacket.

My friends and my husband said the rain coat is really great! Although it is a rain coat but better than any coat I have had. I wore it on rainy days here in Houston. It really works. I walked my dog and went to shopping when It was raining, it kept me dry. something more interesting was nobody knew that the coat I were wearing was a rain coat! The Oceanic color I bought is beautiful and very feminine.
