Columbia's biggest selection of footwear is in trail running and lightweight hiking shoes. Their trail running line features:

Columbia builds go-anywhere shoes with comfort in mind. The popular Ravenous model won Trail Runner Magazine's "Best Debut Product" award. It is available in men's and women's fit, and with or without Columbia's Omni-Tech® waterproof and breathable construction. The waterproof and breathable construction is important if you anticipate running in wet conditions, but if the bulk of your running occurs in good weather, the regular construction will work well. The Ravenous also features Omni-Grip® traction and durability for superior all-terrain grip. Trail running styles also make great lightweight hiking footwear for hikers who prefer a fast and light set-up. They are not designed for carrying a heavy pack, but they are great when traveling light is a priority.

For more rugged use, Columbia makes lightweight hikers and a couple of mid-height hiking styles, too. The lightweight hiking styles are a little heavier than the trail running models, and they offer better all-around support and stability. The hiking category is ideal for day hikes with a modest pack on any terrain. Columbia's Contour Comfort® footbed provides a comfortable and cushioned home for your feet. Rubberized toes add durability and protection from rocks and trail hazards. Models like the Shastalavista Omni-Tech® for men and women blur the line between running and hiking. They utilize much of the same technology as the running models with added support for rugged trail use. The Shastalavista is also available in a mid-height style for added ankle support. The mid-height version is a great choice for hikers looking to carry a bigger pack or anyone who thinks they can benefit from the added ankle support when hiking.

Although a smaller part of Columbia's footwear program, they also have a handful of more casual styles like slip-ons and basic street sneakers. The men's and women's Campus shoe brings retro-styling and comfortable fit into a sneaker designed for daily wear. Even the Campus model adds Omni-Shield® water repellency and Techlite® midsole cushioning. Columbia builds durability and comfort into every shoe style the produce.
