The Best, Most Comfortable Shorts I've Ever Owned

The Columbia Brewha Shorts are the most comfortable shorts that I have ever owned. They wear well and dry relatively fast. Lots of storage. I enjoy fishing the flats off if Sanibel Island and I'm always looking for confortable shorts with lots of storage. These fit the bill.

A Bit Large and Flared Out

The looks are great with two exceptions. The fit is large and baggy and the general shape is like an "A". I like them enough to try again with a smaller size, a M instead of my usual L.

These shorts fit great. It took me a few different Columbia styles to find one that fit me right. I'm built like a truck, short legged and stocky. So regularly it's difficult to find a pair of shorts, or pants for that matter, that fit right. The pockets are in the right places and carry everything. The color selection is palatable. Seem like they will last me a few years of wear and tear.

Bought these to replace a 5 year old pair that I've beaten to death (but they're still functional). The fabric is tough without being heavy, and the pockets are in exactly the right places. I'm 6'2" and the large size falls a few inches above my knee. Good for climbing, working and anything else where a longer length would get in the way.

Finally, shorts that are short.

I bought some of these in flax, sage and fossil, 15 years ago in the mall department store The summers are very long in Houston/ Clear Lake, TX so they got a lot of use. After about 12 years they started showing some wear/tear damage. One of the main things I like about them was the short inseam and the way they looked on a late '50s guy, 5' 9" tall and in pretty good shape looked in them. I looked everywhere but could not find the 7" inseam version, because long and baggy was the in thing. I finally decided to hit the web and see if I could find them. I just ordered and received one pair. Fits perfect......looks great. Going back for more now that I know where to find them. These shorts are great for casual dress dates, boating/sailing, biking, hiking.......basically you'll find me in one color or another with nylons t-shirts or Hawaiian shirts all day, most every day in the summertime.

Love these shorts. I bought a pair of these several years ago that were a quick drying nylon material but they do not appear to make that style anymore. This cotton style is very good however. I am a 33-34 waist and ordered mediums. They appeared a little big at first but after washing and drying they they are perfect. Would definitely buy these again!

My husband swears by these shorts...We live in Las Vegas and he wears them year round...the stretch waistband adds comfort and ease of movement..thank you altrec for carrying them.

This is the second pair of these shorts I have had. The first pair lasted for years and is still wearable. They fit great and have lots of pockets. The newer ones are an improvement for travel as all of the pockets are pick-pocket safe.

These shorts are very comfortable. I like the strong rugged material. It feels durable and long lasting. I purchased these shorts because I liked the color and the design. The waist is a little loose for a size medium, but it's only a minor complaint. I am pleased with the purchase overall.

These shorts fit great and are perfect for fishing or casual wear. Plenty of pocket space and the length is just right, fit just above the knee. Lots of room for your fishing gear.

I now have 4 pair. They are like an old pair of jeans from day 1. They hit above the knee. I want a pair of shorts... not capris. Most shorts these days are below the knee. This hit about and inch above the knee... real shorts for a change. what a concept.

These are my "go to" shorts. Pockets for everything, just don't put your cellphone in the side pliers pocket, tough to get out.

These shorts are comfortable, functional and oh so "Florida Keys"! Terrific for the beach, hanging around the house in a t-shirt and flip flops or dressing-up with a button down for the evening out. They will shrink some but know they seem to run a bit large.
