Great Shorts but Baggy

These shorts were everything I expected except they fit kind of large. I am a short guy (5'5") with a stocky build and a size small was incredibly baggy. Nonetheless, I would recommend these shorts to anyone; they are lightweight, of good quality, and a great value.

These are great shorts. I use them for sports, for swimming and around the house. I'm 6' 2" , with a 36 inch waist and the MEDIUM fits perfectly. The quality is second to none and if you take care of them they will last for years and years to come. Altrec' s shipping was LIGHTNING fast!! Good job Altrec !! By the way: the entire short can be tucked in to the rear pocket ....great for travelling!!

I like the price on these quick drying, solid shorts. Good looking color, fits true to size.. I am a 34-35 waist and got the large but will go down to a Medium on my next Columbia purchase.

Nice lightweight shorts that stay out of your way, and the extra side pocket is nice for holding a cell phone etc. I'm 6'1 or so and I really like the length of these. Some people may find 6 in. inseam too short but I like the short(er) style. I bought them as a swimming trunk, hot-yoga short, and around town short.

I bought these shorts for my son and I can't seem to keep them washed fast enough for him. I bought them for him to wear fishing and he is wearing them for everything, fishing, swimming, dress, school, they just seem to be perfect for every occasion. I will definitely be buying some more!

I had purchased these shorts before and liked them so much that I came back for more just like them. I am a woman who is a little thick thru the middle but no hip problems, kind of straight up and down. I have always found mens shorts a better fit for me and these fit the bill.

Light enough to use for swimming and diving, yet heavy and strong enough for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Fast to dry and light for packing. Good fit,comfortable for every day wear.

Favorite pair of shorts, have them in a lot of colors and really are an all around great pari of shorts and bathing suit. If you are in need of a durable and dependable pair of shorts, these are for you.

I liked the material of the swimming shorts. I liked the looks of it, though it was bit baggy for my taste. Still glad I got it, was a good deal of the price I paid. Would recommend it to others.

The shorts are amazing except for the fact that they fit very small. I am a rather tall guy and the 6in inseam was a little short for my legs. Other than that they are really good.

Nothing fancy, but if you want quickdrying, lined and comfortable shorts with a shorter inseam than has become common, these will do the job. Most water shorts have either a pull string or a built-in web belt. These have a string plus belt loops, which can be very handy to attach knives, pouches, etc. There is a second open pocket on the right that I guess has some utility for fishermen. Overall, these shorts work for me.

Love these shorts for lap swimming. Wish they had more colors. The elastic lasts me about 12-18 months, probably because of the pool chemicals and frequent washings

Great fast-drying material. Lots of leg room. Run a tiny bit large...if you're between sizes, go down one. Nice details. My only problem - they have liners. That means that you can only wear them once between washes instead of just changing underwear. It also means no zipper...because otherwise you could just cut the liner out and all be good. Still, a great value and compare well to shorts costing 30% more.
