Description
Proven around the world, Carlisle's tough, maintenance-free, quality aluminum shafts give you maximum strength and performance. The 1-7/8" diameter thick-walled tempered aluminum tubing is sheathed in colorful, abrasion-resistant polyethylene tubing. 8' and longer oars have reinforced inner shafts for extra-duty strength. Rubber grips cushion the molded plastic handles. Removable blades permit easy storage and transport.

Light yet strong

These are great lightweight oars that perform fantastic in every situation from, heavy load, to white water that I have put them into so far. Although they are claimed not to be as strong as the longer 2 piece carlisle oars, I have had them bent into working form enough times to say it would be very difficult to make them fail.
