I really love these shorts . They are really comfortable. I wish I could find more cotton shorts that fit this well. I'm able to put everything I need in the various pockets. My only complaint is the extreme difference in sizing between the colors. The Khaki fits great but when I purchased the same size for the light brown they are too small.

These shorts are great for every purpose; casual wear and outdoor activities. Comfortable, well made (double & triple stitching) and lasts long. Can't go wrong with Carhartt.

my favorite shorts ever

These are my favorite shorts ever as they are extremely durable and attractive. I've worn them while sliding down scree slopes or climbing over logs and boulders while backpacking. I've also worn them (with button-down shirts and other more classy tops) to summer events, dates, and parties. Their colors hold well through repeated washing. I've also purchased several pairs because they are such high quality for the money.

This short is stylish and durable - great for hiking and other adventurous outdoor activities. It has timeless design with stylish back and side pockets and comes in great colors. I love the light brown color.

I'm easily a size 8. Everything I buy is size 8 and is just right. Granted, I did lose a little weight recently but my old size 6 clothing, while wearable, is tight. I ordered size 8 for these shorts and they were too big in the waist. I wanted a snug fit (no gaps) in the waist because if you weigh the shorts down with things - cell phone, hammer, gardening tools, whatever you want to hang from the loops or pockets while you work - you are going to get some sag. The last thing I want is to *have* to wear a belt to keep my shorts up. So I reordered in size 6 and they are perfect! The waist is not tight (I'd say there's still a good half-inch gap, which gives me breathing room when I sit), but it's not loose enough to slide down off my hips. No part of these shorts are tight in the smaller size. I couldn't be more pleased! The pockets are nice and deep (none of the finger-room only junk you get for most women's shorts and pants these days). It is a nice thick canvas but not so thick you wouldn't want to wear them in the heat of summer, and soft. They're extremely comfortable. Quality stitching ensures these shorts will last me years to come.

They are very comfortable, very little wrinkling which is a plus. Heavy material so you know they are durable but not hot or uncomfortable. They fit well and I would purchase again.

These shorts were the perfect length, not too short, not too long. High quality thicker material means these shorts will last a long time. Love the fit.

these shorts are high quality shorts. the description is very true- they are a slightly tapered fit at the waist and do not bulge out in the back. Altrec has AWESOME Customer service! -keep this in mind when ordering - Altrec will help you find shorts that fit... if these don't!

Perfect Shorts

I am short, with wide hips and thighs, small waist. These fit divinely at the waist and loose in the legs so I can move about freely. The material is substantial and washes well. I bought 2 pairs and they will last for years.
