Excellent quality. Soft warm fleece lining, including the outside pockets. Upper outside pocket perfect for cell phone. Two inside pockets suitable for concealed carry of small frame hand guns. Quality zippers with wind flaps. Very pleased with this vest.

Purchased as an outdoor vest for work: warm, durable, comfortable. I've not owned it long enough to say that it is durable, but the construction certainly looks durable. It is definitely warm with the Sherpa lining, and the Sherpa lining of the pockets is an added benefit....makes your hands feel much warmer when not wearing gloves. The size is definitely correct; however, if you plan to wear this outdoors for work, take into account what you plan to wear under the vest when choosing a size. I think I didn't realize that I like to bulk up with layers under the vest and have the vest as an outer layer, and as such, it is just a bit on the tighter side for size...not uncomfortable, but like 1/4th size too small when I bulk up underneath.

Carhartt has always been known for quality and durability. Though I've owned it less than a month, I can tell it's quality made. The nice thing about the Carhartt vest compared to others similar, is that it is not at all too long. A lot of companies make size Large items for tall people... well when you are 5'6" you don't want a vest/jacket that comes down to your knees... this one fits perfect just like a vest should! (so maybe not ideal for a tall guy-- but that's why they make them in tall sizes too)

I just received this vest today and put it on immediately. I have never had such an outdoor garment fits the way it is supposed to, and the warmth was fantastic. I was on the Oregon coast, and it was all I needed to ward off the cold sea breeze. I will definitely be buying more Carhartt clothing from Altrec. They have the best prices and the best guarantees in the market! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I am glad I got the xl tall. I am 6'-5" and defiantly needed the extra length. Gives the rugged look and goes good with flannel shirts. Has plenty of pockets.. T.he vest is quite comfortable on those in between days where you don,t want to wear a heavy coat.

This vest really fits well and is thick enough to keep out the cold. I highly recommend it to those who travel frequently because you can store alot in the pockets.

The durability and quality of the vest is what I expected from Carhart. The Sherpa lining adds significant warmth and comfort. The vest is a little wide at the waist but will allow to add layers for colder weather.

I've had the vest for two weeks and it's everything I need in a work vest. Let's start with the size. I am 6'3" 200lbs and the xl long fits perfect over a hoody. The vest material fits very relaxed it skips the stiff break in phase. The Sherpa lining is pretty soft but seems to have durability you would expect from carhartt. Features. The hand warmer pockets are lined and comfortable. They are cut low on the sides so I wouldn't use them for storage, if u need a secure pocket for a cell phone or car keys, This is where the chest pocket comes in handy. The order processed the same day and the vest arrived before the expected date.

The Carhartt vest is great true sizing and color etc. This was our first time shopping with Altrec, and we were disappointed in their shipping promise- "free two day shipping" after the order was filled- the order filled in about 2 days, but the shipping took an additional 5-6 days, when I inquired as to why, they blamed it on the supplier. Not sure I would use this company again.
